Exact replacement. Operates well

I ordered this for my boat trailer and it's the exact same part that I am replacing. The only difference is the reverse lock out has 2 wires, hot and ground, and the old one only had one wire, hot. I don't really think that it matters which is hot and which is ground. It was delivered promptly.

Works great can’t complain. 7-1-25 this is an update: the lock out key that comes with this is trash do yourself a favor and buy the orange upgraded lock out key here on Amazon. You’ve been warned.

Great replacement part. There are some modifications and improvements from older models. Mine was simply swap out 1 brass fitting to to accomodate and attach to my current brake system, then add wiring for ground wire (white) for reverser overide, then good to go. Seems to be working great, very happy.

T he replacement tongue fit perfectly in the place of the old one, the only difference between the two is the wiring for the bypass solenoid for backing up, I have it wired wrong because the old one just had 1-wire and the new one has two.
