Comfortable shoes for a long hike
I typically go hiking once a week and for a while had just been using tennis shoes with memory foam in the bottom. However the more experienced I became the longer and more rugged my hikes became. After doing a 12 mile hike and getting several blisters on my feet and dealing with constant slippage on the trail I needed a change. After having worn these for 2 months I can honestly say these Addidas hiking shoes have revolutionized how my feet should feel at the end of a days hike. I get incredible traction on different trails. Especially when going down hill or on patches of loose gravel. I also haven't gotten a single blister on my feet since wearing these and have gone on 2, 15 mile hikes. On a side note I personally enjoy the small orange accents from the inside of the shoes sole. I like orange as a color and typically most products will over power shoes with it making them annoyingly bright orange, but these offer a satisfying accent that i and my hiking partners find very stylish. I'm not sure how long these will last but after 2 months of regular hiking there are no tears, signs of wear, or chipping in the bottom traction. I expect at the current rate to get a year out of them if not more. Furthermore I would recommend these to anyone who is doing regular hiking and looking for great value for money shoe without needing to spending over $100 on steel toed or spiked hoking shoes.

My first pair I bought Dec 2020, phenomenal
These shoes cured my plantar fascitis. As an obese woman, I could not wear soft altra shoes anymore so switched to these as I had found them secondhand in a store called Next Adventure store in Oregon, and they fit when I used to wear men's size 11 shoes. I have a wide forefoot and very large toes as well. My feet increased in size, I outgrew my hiking boots before I was done with them, and purchased these in a men's 14. People who have seen my feet do not think I should wear a men's 14, but I have to wear this size. I have a large instep and a wide forefoot and they work for me. I also have found nikes and addidas accomodate my heel shape while other shoe styles like altra cut my heels and leave them bleeding. These really were the perfect shoes for me for my extended walking. I dont ever want to take them off/retire them, even though I have two other brand new addidas terrex shoes, I can't bear to say goodbye to these. As another reviewer said, they were stiff as concrete, and this is absolutely NEEDED for me at 250lbs, otherwise I get plantar fascitis. I bought SOLE leather and cork insoles with my first purchase of these, I think size mens 11 and put them in over the factory insole. If they weren't stiff they would break down and be unwearable. Ive had these since mid december and its close to the end of April and it is time to retire them, unfortunately. I walk four to six miles a day in them every day. I hope the company leaves these wonderful hiking boots exactly as they are for people who need stiff shoes that are high quality and last a long time.

Good shoes
These shoes took a day to break in. A lil stiff at first but then they backed very comfortable. Awesome for hiking but the bottoms are like cleats so expect to have dirt and mud stuck to the bottoms. Overall a great product and a great price

Great hiking shoe
Purchased for trip to BC, Canada. Put 51 miles on these shoes, including airports, urban walking, and mountain trails. Very comfortable, relatively light, good tread grip on mountain trails, and good stability. Update: Descended the BCMC trail in these shoes. A challenging trail with a 25% average gradient, loose rocks, tree roots for steps, and some man made wilderness steps. Shoes provided excellent stability and grip on treacherous terrain. Update: Spent a few days kicking in Sedona area. Mostly sandstone rock and sandy trails. Shoes provided excellent grip on dusty rock surfaces.

Rugged, durable and still serviceable.
Great hiking shoe. Fits great. Comfortable. Durable for Florida terrain. Made well. I would and have recommend these Addis hiking shoes. Note: they are a little heavier than other hiking shoes products that I've used. However, they are a lot more rugged and durable and I'll take that any day. I'm a retired Marine and train daily. I hike 5 miles daily on Florida trails with 45lbs pack and a 15 pound curling bar. These have been through it and are still serviceable. 😊 Get a pair and break them in. Semper Fi

Great Looking, Fit Well
These shoes were great from the first wearing. Fit is perfect and color exactly what I wanted, even though I couldn't see in person before purchasing. Wore them for a full week of vacation, hiking most days. No trouble or discomfort, so I'm very pleased.

Not bad, but definitely could be better.
11 Month Review! I wish I had some better things to say about these shoes as I was very hopeful for them. As a 6’1”, 300lb man I will say these are mostly comfortable. They do keep my feet from dying after being out and about all day. Also, they have great grip and can walk on slippery surfaces quite nicely. But! The reason for being only 3 stars: the first picture says it all-durability. After only 11 months they’re opened up. With the bottom opened up like that, forget about going in the shallowest of waters, snow, or anything with lots of little stones(Like hiking! The main point of these shoes, right?). Water and stones get in no problem. Before, they worked great, obviously no water higher than a couple inches or so but now it’s like I step in a slight puddle and find my foot soaked. I would not recommend these shoes.
