Not used for pain relief but it's an excellent pillow, especially for the price!

My sister in law told me about this pillow many years ago. It is kind of pricey for a pillow and my husband suggested we try a couple other options before buying an expensive pillow. Well years went by and my sister in law's pillow (this one) was still in the same shape as it was on Day 1 and we, on the other hand, had even more crappy, flat pillows that needed replacing. So, I went ahead and bought myself the king size Cosy House pillow. I've had it for 6 months and it is still fluffy, comfy, and amazing! And that husband that didn't want to splurge for the expensive pillow.... yea he tells me how much he loves my pillow all the time and after I wake up for the day, he steals it haha (Don't worry, he's getting one for Christmas this year!) If the price is what is keeping you from buying it, just think of it as a long term investment. You will never need to buy another pillow again. My sister in law has had hers for 6 or 7 years. That's like $7 a year. The king size is a nice size too because my husband and I can both lay our heads on it at the same time. You can take the stuffing out so that it is the right thickness for you. It's great. I'm glad I bought it and my husband will be glad to have his own soon enough!

I like how this pillow is adjustable. However I've tried it in different stages but still can't find the right comfort for my neck issue. It mattes down as you sleep on it which makes it too hard for my liking. I have to fluff it in the night as I like a soft pillow, yet need the support. Okay but still not the answer for me.

This pillow is amazing and so comfortable. I would recommend this highly to anyone that is having a hard time sleeping on your side or back. Also cooling!!! I have bought so many in my lifetime and finally a keeper. Will buy another one if it ever wears out.

I've tried many of these shredded foam pillows, many pillows in general actually. I know it is really difficult when buying online to try and determine what to expect, even with all the reviews etc. I've been on the hunt for the right pillow for ages. Right off, this pillow is definitely on the firmer side. It offers more support than many I've tried. I believe due in part to the fact that the case that holds the foam filling is also foam, which adds a layer of support lacking in many of the others. I am primarily a side sleeper, who sometimes sleeps on my back. Finding the right support has been an issue. This pillow is squishy, but not to the point that you sink all the way into it and are left with nothing much in between. It is moldable, but also firm feeling at the same time. When I lay on it, my head sinks in a bit, but it then holds that support, if that makes sense. Others I've tried just allow your head to sink in too much, or don't give much at all. It also seems to me that the filling doesn't shift around as much as others, which would also leave you lacking support. The filling seems to be good quality and clean, meaning no weird, discolored, or hard pieces mixed in. The outer case is nice and soft. There isn't a strong odor upon unpackaging the pillow. Obviously you'd want to wash the case, and I threw the pillow in the dryer for 20 mins. Possible down side, there isn't really anything cooling about this pillow for hot sleepers. So, I would say, particularly for side sleepers, if you are looking for an adjustable and supportive pillow, then this might be it. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. However, if you like a soft and squishy pillow then this is probably not for you.
