This works (for me, an actual type 2 diabetic for many years) better than a first line medication. If your doctor is talking to you about starting metformin or you're already on a dosage ~2000mg/day and it's not working as well as it used to years ago, talk to your doctor about starting a new medication that doesn't scare you (so many diabetes drugs wind up on tv commercials for lawsuits later so I understand this fear)... or make a plan to be more aggressive with your diet and exercise, and get medical advice about using banaba leaf in addition to metformin or whichever first line med you're on. I can't speak for those who aren't pre or actual type 2 diabetics using it for weight loss. Sidenote: When doctors prescribe the newer heavy-duty diabetes drugs for non-diabetics (Ozempic and the like classes) for the off-label use of weight loss, know that it threatens the supply of these for people who actually need them and it's a dire situation right now; and that, because those medications currently have no generics and won't for a set time period due to patent laws and regulatory issues, those doctors make money from pharma companies by prescribing them to you. Check out the user reviews on sites wherein people describe ER visits and graphic changes in quality of life after taking those medications for off-label weight loss use and ask yourself if shedding weight is worth your long term health and quality of life. I'd wager straight up cocaine is safer than some of those, and I choose banaba leaf and a more rigorous change in daily nutrition and exercise plan than risk using them. Your mileage may vary!

I'm rating this product 5 stars. This brand has proven to be the best for keeping my blood sugar levels in check. I used another brand NusaPure Extract, but after a while it stopped being as effective. I've never had that with Paradise which I've been using now for over a year.

Helped lower my HbA1c values significantly... Yes I was taking Metformin and changed diet and increased my walking. The total decrease in 1 month was 25% on a glucose level well within Diabetic status. My physician calculates I should be off all glucose lowering medications by end of 2020, if not sooner. I had zero side effects or other issues. I beyond appreciate this product. Thanks!
