A quality upgrade for my laptop. Installed easily and worked perfectly right from the start. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and passed all tests.

This has definitely increased my multi tasking capabilities, Chrome can eat RAM all it wants now. It even runs my virtual servers with ease.

Buying RAM is less complicated than it may seem for most people. Very few people will enable the XMP profile in their BIOS such that they can use the slightly faster speed this RAM allows. However, at the time I purchased it, the 2400 and the 2133 were the same price so I bought the faster one even though I plan to run it at stock speeds. I bought this for a laptop that was going to be running several VMs. They were detected the first time and it has been running stable for the past two months. Nothing more to say other than this RAM works. If you are wondering about compatibility, I would use the tool on the Crucial website. It's great because it will tell you if you need DDR3 or DDR4 as well as the max RAM you system supports. You could do the same thing yourself if you know your processor and motherboard chipset, but why not make life easy and use the tool? Unlike most other computer parts, RAM with the same specs from any reputable brand is basically the same. So just get what is cheapest. RAM prices seem to fluctuate like crazy, I got this for $250 in September 2017, but today (just two months later) it is $315… That seems like too much to ask. I haven’t docked stars for the price since it seems that all RAM has risen in price but I would search Amazon for “32GB DDR4 SODIMM” and get the cheapest thing that was from Crucial, Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill, or HyperX. Avoid Mushkin and you’ll be fine!

GREAT PRICE for Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 3200 MHz CL22 Laptop Memory CT2K16G4SFRA32A. I used this after checking Crucial Web Site/Store. Went from 8GB to 32 for $105 - What a deal and huge improvement to my wife's HP Notebook-17by1023cl. They have a scan they do on your computer and it tell you ALL the Ram & Hard Drives that they sell that will work in your computer. DO NOT BELIEVE HP. They will tell you it is only upgradable to 16GB which is what they said about mine & wife's computers. Now they are both at 32GB and Mine used Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 Laptop Memory CT2K16G4SFD824A and now has a new 500GB Solid State Drive. AND they GIVE you the software for FREE to 100% Clone your old drive and replace it with the new drive and NOTHING LOOKS or is DIFFERENT but a lot FASTER. I did the scans then purchased on Amazon. It is easier to return stuff if there is a problem. (BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM) Crucial is FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY. I even upgraded my server RAM that the factory said could NOT be upgraded. I bought this to upgrade a 2017 27” iMac with 8g of RAM to 40g. When I added it, the iMac would not boot and I got a black screen only despite waiting several minutes. I rearranged the RAM and tried several configurations. It would boot with only the original 8g or with only the new 32g of crucial memory but not with both. It’s running fine and fast with 32, but I’m a little disappointed that I wasn’t able to get 40g in my machine like others have.

Dieses RAM-Kit von Crucial ließ sich problemlos in meinen Laptop einsetzen und funktioniert seitdem einwandfrei. Wichtig ist natürlich, vor dem Kauf auf die passenden Spezifikationen zu achten. Wenn das gegeben ist, erhält man hier einen soliden Arbeitsspeicher ohne Komplikationen. Insgesamt ein problemloses und empfehlenswertes Upgrade.

I was in a fix between Corsair and this one. Chose this because it's around 4K cheaper with all features remaining the same. Also Corsair was from Global store which has it's own hassles if something goes wrong with the product and I have to return it. I got 32 GB in total (two 16GB sticks) for my Intel NUC. I mainly use my system for virtualisation which needs a lot RAM. Also, RAM is something which I don't want to upgrade so maxed out the capacity. Using it now for 2 days and the speed is amazing, much faster than my laptop which has 1666 Mgz frequency. Would definitely recommend this one over others for price / performance ratio.

My iMac was starting to get sluggish with the original factory 8gb of RAM, so swapped in these two 16gb's for 32gb total and performance has improved significantly. Easy to install and no issues on restart. Decent value for the price. Might buy another set to max out at 64gb.

Purchased the additional ram prior to upgrading OS to Big Sur. Had the exactly the same pair (bought in 2018) And I never had any issues with it. This new pair, (bought late 2020) also had no issues after installation. System running flawlessly. Shipping was FAST! :)

A partir du site Crucial j'ai déterminé ce qu'il fallait pour la référence de mon PC (portable) et le maximum de RAM installable. J'ai pu passer ainsi d'un PC qui était à problème avec 4Go de RAM (qui suffisaient largement à Windws 10 dans mes premières années d'utilisation) à 32 Go. Le résultat est formidable, plus qu'une nouvelle jeunesse. Tout est rapide (avant totu devait d'engorger à cause des appels au disque dur), même les sorties de veille sont plsu rapide (je pensais que ça allait être plus long en veille prolongée à cause des 32Go à recharger). Démontage (de l'ancienne mémoire) puis montage très facile. J'avais potassé avant sur le Web. IMPORTANT : J'ai utilisé un bracelet pour protéger des décharges électrostatiques pendant ce travail. Les mémoires elles s'enlèvent et se mettent sans violence, en douceur (SO-DIMM). Point crucial, les mémoires Crucial me donnent satisfaction ! Par contre sur leur site j'ai regardé comment clôner un DD sur un nouveau DD ou un SSD et ça me paraît incomplet, pas à jour, des doutes sur le logiciel suggéré et ils ne vendent plus l'adaptateur SATA-USB qu'il montrent dans le tutoriel. Donc le résultat est risqué si on n'a pas le bon matériel (le leur qu'il ne fournissent plus) et le bon logiciel (sui a dû évoluer depusi leur tutoriel).
