Secure, cost effective and flexible option for carrying cycles
I have a car for which it is notoriously difficult to find a cycle carrier that fits. Even a Saris Bones did not work; frankly the best option is a tow-hitch mount but my car doesn't have a hitch. I had resorted to carrying my bike inside the car (to be fair, also the safest option) but placing the bike in and out of the car was such a faff and risked damage to both the car and the cycle itself. Cue an internet search - this showed-up some other (much) more expensive suction-cup rack options but also this Rockbros bike rack. As an added bonus, the video on the website demonstrating the rack used the same car that I own; this clinched it for me. I purchased the single bike option; I rarely (never) carry more than one cycle and to be honest I probably wouldn't want to using a suction-cup rack. The item arrived quickly and was packaged well. The mount is manufactured from metal and seems well made. The included attachment is a quick release hub (other options can be purchased). Attaching the rack to the car is really easy - clean the suckers and the car with a damp cloth to improve the vacuum seal and reduce the potential for damage to the car. You mount the axle part first, then attach the bike and finally attach the rear wheel sucker. The hardest part is mounting the bike - there is a knack to this and a few tries had it sorted for me. I actually made a cardboard template to go around the mount and protect the car from mishaps but this is not really necessary, especially if you have an assistant. Once mounted correctly and locked down, the bike is secure and ready for transport. It is a huge leap of faith using this rack for the first time. My first journey was less than 10 miles and I think I stopped every 1 mile or so to check things! There were no issues and I have now carried the bike over 300 miles on a mix of roads with no issues. I did check that things were secure every two hours of driving though and never went above 65-70 miles per hour. I actually left the bike on the rack overnight (in a secure location) and the next day, bike and rack were still just as securely attached as when I set out. Once finished with, the rack is so small, it can just stay in your car until needed. The suction-cup protectors are a really nice touch to ensure that the cups remain pristine. Top tips: Watch the Rockbros videos before use - there are some good tips in these. Do clean both the suction cups and the car body with a damp cloth before attaching the carrier. Practice mounting the bike on the rack - it does become easier. Remember that your car is more that 2m high with bikes on the roof - watch out for car parks or garages. f needed, silicon oil is used to lubricate the pump assembilies. Other notes: The mount is not lockable - keep this in mind when leaving your vehicle. Check the condition of the suction cups and the valve assemblies *before* and *during* prolonged use. Overall, I recommend this and have had a very positive experience; I will be using this as my go-to cycle carrier for the foreseeable future. But... (there's always a but...) Check everything works before you use the rack. On closer inspection, one of the rubber suction cups was very slightly damaged on the lip; this is not good since this is where the vacuum seal is made. Another of the suction pumps was also less effective than the others and this was also a worry for me. The rack still did its job for more than 300 miles but I was sufficiently concerned to raise it with Rockbros. After some additional and thorough fault-finding, the suspect parts were replaced with no fuss. Top marks for the excellent customer service from Rockbros there.

Surprisingly great bit of kit!!
I bought this as I desperately needed a way to get my bike to a race on my new saloon car. I was, at best a bit sceptical. However, it fits easily and is very straight forward to install using the pump buttons on each suction cup. Once on, it does not budge. It took some decent travel, around 250 miles of travel round trip and not a single issue or scare moment. Solid build and feels well built. Decent value given the cost of similar competitor products. My only minor gripe is that I wish it had come with the various axle inserts as I had to order a maxle add-on in a separate order.

Seems to do the job
Having had a well known premium brand of this type of bike carrier it compares fairly well. Nice quality and reliable on first use, I use this for the kids bike which is worth way less than the one used for the premium brand, but feel slightly less confident in the unit.

Didn't work and Co wouldn't contact me
Disappointed I'm afraid. Whilst I thought the cups would fit on to my TT's glass back window the manual then said don't do this. The forks on my ORBEA MB are also too wide and the Co wouldn't answer my questions when I asked for help. The product seems sturdy enough for a copy but don't expect any customer service back if you need it.

Amazing
I was sceptical about using these for my bike on a long journey and I should not have been! Takes 5 minutes to install and get the bike on too. Only 2 minutes to uninstall. Absolutely no problem with the suction pads. Very impressed
