Mr. Kate Winston Sectional Sofa

I wanted to redecorate my small apartment so I was looking for a very specific item. I had my heart and head set on a blue velvet couch with a chaise lounge that would fit nicely in a small living room space, along with a price range under $800 dollars. This proved to be an impossible feat, I search the internet for months, read hundreds of reviews and finally found what I was looking for here on Amazon. I was ready to hit purchase because I was so excited I finally found what I was looking for but decided to read the review, look at the pictures posted but something told me to research the seller because I had never heard of them and low and behold although I had finally found the couch of my dreams what I had been searching for, for months and the reviews of the seller was horrible, sketchy to say the least, bad BBB reviews, buyers had nothing good to say about the company, taken money with no product delivered, no return calls, emails from the company when people reached out so I wasn’t willing to take the risk even though there was one or two satisfied customers but $800 dollars was a lot of money to gamble with! So I decided to let it go and continue my search, just as I was going to give up my search and settle for my back up couch a grey velvet that I found on Amazon. But before I hit the button to purchase I did one last search, blue velvet couch with chaise lounge and low and behold it appeared like out of thin air, meant to be, so I quickly read the reviews, looked at the pictures, researched the company and this was it, everything was in place and for the price I was willing to pay! I couldn’t believe it and this time I hit purchase before it would disappear! Now it was time to find the perfect rug, throw pillows, couch throw, coffee table etc.. The only issue I had was with delivery, it came faster than I thought, they changed the delivery date and time without notifying me because it came earlier than was told and that I picked. So I made a call to Amazon, rescheduled the delivery date and time and before you know it, it was at my door. It was all in one box, no tools needed for assembly, directions were clear and I put together myself fairly easily, I would say in an hour or so but I took my time and only needed help once from someone to hold one end while I connected the opposite end and that was it! It was beautiful, it was comfortable, it was sturdy, soft, it was the perfect color, the perfect size for my living room and was a great price, less than $600 dollars, it was meant to be! And as you can see I found the perfect rug and pillows, I’m in love!! So if you are looking for a Blue velvet couch with a chaise lounge, this the couch for you!!

I bought this couch three years ago and it’s held up exceptionally well for the price. It was easy to assemble and it’s comfortable; I’ve had a few people crash on it and they’ve all said it was fine. It looks cute and has fit well in both my former small studio and now larger one bedroom apartment. The cushions have held up well and aren’t flat or anything. The fabric hasn’t torn or pilled. The only issue I have with it is that I have a dog and it does show stains. I’ve tried cleaning it several ways and they just won’t come out, so if you have pets be aware of that. Otherwise, I definitely recommend it.

Update since I purchased this on March 2021 (New photo uploaded w/ the throw pillows): I still truly enjoy this sectional. Some of the fabric is sticking out now because my dog’s nails scratch it from jumping on and off everyday. Overall the back cushions are still good and can be fluffed but I definitely wish that it had more stuffing. The seat cushions are still firm! — Initial review: I’m really impressed with how nice this couch is. I’m so happy with how easy it was to assemble. It’s also really nice because you can move the sectional’s position the way your room is set up or you can detach the end and turn it into an ottoman simply by switching the cushions on the couch. It feels like a long lasting couch because of the great cushion quality unlike those other springy couches. The color and the fabric are great too! So far I have no complaints about this couch. It’s amazing, clean to look at, sturdy, worth the money and very easy to rearrange in our room.

Love the color & size. I live in a small place & this fits perfectly into my space with seating for 3 adults. The color is beautiful in real life. It look dull in pics. It was easy to put together by myself. It is soft, firm & has just enough bounce to it to make it very comfortable. I've had it for a couple months now & it is still in perfect condition. It is worth the price.

I was unsure about buying this without sitting on it. But since I love anything Mr. Kate, I purchased as I have a small home, wanted a smaller sofa, and I loved the option of the "chaise" part being able to easily move to either side. Positives: Assembly with NO tools needed--love this!! Firm cushions, but have comfy give to them. Looks GORGEOUS Simple design Negatives: Seems flimsy, when sitting on it , although no creeks or falling apart. I'm not sure if it would withstand someone who likes to plop down/jump on. The fabric-it's beautiful but WRINKLED--the "chaise part" comes vac sealed, but it has been over 5 days and the same wrinkles are still there. It is a distraction and now looks like a pattern on the velvet. This is my biggest complaint. I'm unable to get the wrinkles out of the fabric. The "chaise" cushion is the most wrinkled. The other two seat cushions were not vac sealed but they too have wrinkles as well.

I’m not sure what all of the complaints are for in the reviews but this was a great purchase. Assemble took maybe about 15 min. It’s a couch fresh out of packaging so it will need time to expand but still comfortable. It’s sturdy and I am 5’7 and if I lay down I still have room and if I sit up on the l shapped side my feet do not hang off and I still have room. Fabrics was perfectly fine. There is a flap in the back that is also great if you would like to show the back and not put it up against a wall. Great for small spaces and those on a budget this is a great buy! Delivery was on time and quick… literally overnight. Now time to go pretty it up. ☺️

Reicht vollkommen aus für den Preis. Sieht sehr schick aus und hält was es verspricht. Natürlich kann man dieses Sofa nicht mit einem teureren Modell vergleichen aber es tut definitiv seinen Zweck.

Sofa came earlier than expected, it was easy to assemble and it is very comfortable…my daughter fell asleep on it and said it was super comfortable to spend a night on it…definitely worth the money.

I purchase this sofa as my hallways are very narrow and there is no way I would fit a pre built one through. It arrived in a very large box that nearly fit through the front door. However I was able to open this and take it piece by piece through to my lounge. It was easy to assemble I did it by myself and it took me about 30 mins. The material is soft and the quality seems decent for the price. Now it probably won't last years and years but for the price I paid I'm very happy if it lasts 2 years. I have received loads of compliments on how it looks.

I had my eye on this sofa with chaise/sectional for a while, saw it on sale and hit purchase, and am so glad I did. I absolutely love the color, it's a dark teal more than green, which I am quite happy about. The instructions were clear, and despite saying it would take 2 people 30 minutes, I assembled it alone in about that time ,most of which was removing wraps and screwing in legs. The cushions decompressed quite well and are firm but comfortable. All cushions have zipper closures for removal if necessary, they also have Velcro straps on the backsides to keep in place on frame. The one thing to note, and only reason I gave4 stars instead of 5 is that there is a small, but visually noticable difference in height between the sofa seat and ottoman which gets highlighted once long cushion is on. The effect of the height (slight) difference when sitting on it with legs extended is actually enjoyable. I would highly recommend this sofa with chaise/sectional, if there's any left in stock.
