DO NOT BUY!!! This camera is horrible on all aspects. Picture at night not clear so the night vision is useless. Times out regularly and the movement(swivel) of the cams is not accurate.

We bought this camera to monitor our baby during his sleep or when he plays on his own. The image has a very good resolution. The wifi monitoring using the smartphone app works well with a slight delay, which is understandable. You can record or take pictures directly on your smartphone. I haven't tested the SD card recording, but this feature can record continuously, or at certain timings, or when motion is detected. I once contacted the SRICAM support team for a software issue and they replied whitin less than 24 hours offering a helpful solution. Still working fine after almost a year of use. Edit: we have 2 cameras, used for more than a year. One has a low resolution recording in the dark and goes blank quite often. It then needs to be powered off then on to restore the image. The second camera has a software defect. The "alarm function" which allows to record when a motion is detected keeps turning off all the time, which defeats its purpose. As we are planning to get more surveillance cameras, we will be looking for better quality ones.
