Works great, but clipping the phone in & removing it is difficult. It does its job by keeping the phone still while scanning photos and adjusts easily for distance to the photos. I bought the clicker which is a must in taking photos without movement of the phone.

I have scanned thousands of pictures using this device and appreciate how sturdy it is. Sometimes I have difficulty finding the right surface on which to mount it, but it has held well to a desk and the edge of the countertop. It grabs my phone with a secure spring loaded mechanism and holds it steady.

It has been very helpful for scanning photos into my computer. You will need a flat surface with a ledge to fasten it to.

The quality was much better than I expected. At first I thought this was not necessary, but i was glad i bought it as it made the process so much quicker as the camera was then positioned correctly for the best scan of my photos. The quality is very good. I had expected a cheap product, but this was good quality metal, much better than I expected for the price. It was easy to assemble and take apart for storage.

While the arms are very sturdy, the range of positions is limited. The clamp does not go over tables with a thicker edge or "lip". The clamp consists of a plastic bracket and wobbly round metal disk that was not attached and there was a random metal clip (that probably attached the wobbly disk). The phone clamp is very tight on wider phones. I had to rig it a bit to work and it did what it needed. But I would not buy this again.
