Sturdy and doesn't take much room!

Well...it took a month to arrive, but it when it did, it was an excellent performer! Well made, no binding, the spacing is consistent (not always the case!). Well satisfied.

This is the third 2-hole punch I've purchased in the last two weeks. The first was the wrong size (who knew there was an american standard for prong folders at ~7cm between holes, and a different european standard for 2-ring binders at 8cm????), the second one was the right size but fell apart in under 10 minutes, and lastly, this fine specimen of a 2-hole punch. It punches the right size holes for my project (a 2-ring binder with rings 8cm apart) and seems sturdy enough to last for the entire project. Finally.

I received this a few weeks ago and I have to say this unit is one of the nicest hole punches I've ever owned in terms of build materials and mechanical operation. This isn't the only Leitz product I've bought recently, and I have to say their range of products overall seem to be absolutely excellent. The Leitz Hole Punch is designed for standard European 2-hole punch document applications. It is specifically designed for use with European 2-hole binders. This is *not* the same thing as an American 2-hole punch, and honestly people need to do a bit more investigating and reading so that they buy the product that best suits their needs. Standard A4-size binders use a specific type of hole placement and distance, and this has absolutely nothing to do with American hole punches or American document formats (letter, legal) so please quit writing negative reviews because you bought a product without doing appropriate research first. I will happily do business with this seller in the future, and likely will be buying more Leitz office supplies as well.

Does the job

Reasonably well made with the paper guide staying firmly at the respective size marks. A useful tool for European and other two hole filing requirements.
