Good quality kitchen essential
This is my favorite parchment paper for baking. It is good quality, it dispenses nicely and lays almost flat (unlike some other brands I've tried), and it tears of easily and naturally from the packaging.

parchment paper
a large heavy roll of paper. I wanted parchment paper free od any chemicle treatments. I haven't used it yet, but expecting to be satisfied when I do. If not, I'll be back to revise my review. therefore I'm giving a 4 star rating, as it appears to be a good product! Time will tell!

Great
Perfect. I always buy this brand. I just wish the box would stay together - but a little packing tape will hold it together.

Clean cooking, fast clean-up
We use parchment paper for nearly everything we cook in the oven, and I was glad to find unbleached. Fit the baking dish with parchment, do your cooking, toss the paper, clean-up is a snap with just soapy water and a sponge...makes scrubbing a thing of the past! Chef John from Food Wishes has a fantastic wrapped pork shoulder roast recipe, long cooking at low temperature, just set and forget until the timer goes off...and tender? Oh, my. pull the shoulder bone out with your fingers. Dry the pork shoulder, put on a dry rub (I use a Greek Souvlaki spice) Wrap and roll tightly in 2 layers of parchment paper, and roll over to seal, turn with fold down on a fresh sheet and repeat, then wrap & roll in 3 layers of heavy duty aluminum foil, alternating directions the same way, place in roasting pan with the last fold seam on top. Center in 225 degree oven for 1 ¾ hours per lb. Rest for 1 hour Enjoy!

This was ordered for regular bread making, and does exactly as any parchment does - easy to use, doesn’t burn, makes it easy to get a loaf out of our cast iron, eases cleanup. I’ve also recently gotten back into sewing, and I’ve used it to trace pattern pieces and alter existing pattern pieces! I had to resize an entire tee shirt indie brand professional pattern. I actually was able to get it right on the first try! Having extra paper to trace the original pieces on and Frankenstein a new tee sleeve as I went made it so much easier given the translucent nature of this paper! I was able to check my work easily, redraw all marks on the pattern pieces indicating pleat placement etc, and able to add a 1/4” around the whole piece without any issue. Without this on hand, I would have had to cut on the actual second copy I’d ordered of the pattern itself, and I really didn’t want to potentially ruin the pattern and end up with two cuts of pieces that are wrong for my body. Further, the paper doesn’t hold your pencil marks if you need to erase and redraw. Essential if you’re redrafting, you definitely do not want to have to be trying to indicate which line in an Oops Area is the correct one! No tearing, and the finish of the paper doesn’t just come up. Pencil was best for marking, Sharpie, while it didn’t rub off, was faint, presumably due to the waxy sheen finish. I ended up using tape on the pieces that worked as kind of a ghetto lamination process, so I have permanent versions I can make any adjustments down the line on. No cardboard here, just accurate and sturdy pieces created without a pattern tracing wheel - which itself wouldn’t have worked well given what I had to do to the sleeve piece to get it to hit a size 38 shoulder seam measurement on a size 34 body for a size 30 bicep. French curve alone couldn’t save me, I needed to be able to see the landmarks on the actual pattern piece itself as I traced and erased and retraced until the measurements across the body, back, and sleeve all matched what I needed. Enter this translucent high-quality parchment paper. It was perfectly suited to the job at hand and I’m so happy it was in my kitchen! This roll is substantial, I didn’t feel bad for wasting paper or worried I would run out and we wouldn’t be able to make bread the next day. It’s heavy, so the box is going to need to be reinforced with packing or duct tape for sure, even if all we did was use it for baking, not tracing paper for patterns. I’m not taking a star off for that, I can’t imagine any brand of parchment would have a box solid enough to hold the roll, so it’s not any serious design flaw outside of it being something the company will hopefully consider. If it was simply twice the thickness of card-stock, and had properly glued sides, not folded and tucked, it would obviously still be a 5/5. But the product is fantastic and I’m fine having to do some taping to keep the box together.

This is a HUGE roll of parchment paper with a solidly constructed box. I hate when the boxes fall apart after a few uses. This is high quality parchment paper that is lasting a long time. Good value

Great parchment, wider than the usual formats available at the supermarket. If they can make the box a bit stronger it would be perfect. (the end came apart when I opened the box, had to tape it together).
