Good product for deep frying. It seems to hold up well to 3 uses and then degrades a little. No carry-over taste and no problems with packaging. Keep this oil in a dark cool place.

I use this oil both for making bath & body products and for cooking. Since my best friend is highly allergic to peanuts, I wrote to several companies asking whether their sunflower oil is processed on shared equipment with peanuts. So many of them said yes, they are! Healthy Harvest is one of only two who could assure me that their processing and bottling facilities are completely free of peanuts and tree nuts. I went with Healthy Harvest because their oil is made in my home state of Colorado and because they have better prices than the other brand. It is sometimes cloudy, especially in cold weather, due to the natural wax content. Other brands filter the sunflower wax out. It won't hurt you, don't worry. This oil performs beautifully in my lotion bars, cuticle oil, sugar scrubs, and bath bombs. Sinks right in and leaves skin moisturized without being overly greasy. Sunflower oil is excellent for the skin and has very little odor to compete with my natural fragrances. It's also suitable for people with allergies to nuts, unlike the more popular sweet almond oil. As for cooking, sunflower is a great all purpose oil when you want a very light, neutral flavor. The high smoke point makes it especially well suited for deep frying, searing meat, and stir frying. I've replaced the canola oil in my kitchen with sunflower.

Have used this oil for several years. Use in baking- great in cakes and quick breads. Have used in salad dressings- very light neutral flavor. Actually prefer olive oil for salad dressings due to this oil being so neutral. Used for frying- again light and no heavy flavor. Use this in baking instead of crisco part of the time, ( when not substituting butter for the crisco). Prefer this way over corn oil( flavor) and rapeseed oil( flavor). Will continue using. Good price.

Really good product but was getting a gallon at walmart for 1/3 the price,around 10.oo .It was great value brand but it was great for waxing an oiling my Native American Flutes I make.

This stuff is amazing. It’s the main oil we use in our home. Tastes great even for mayo and salad dressings. Great smoke point for cooking. We love this product and don’t plan to change.

This is a light, clear oil with a very mild flavor. We cook with sunflower oil due to allergies to most commoner oils. Sunflower oil can be hard to find locally and we use a lot of it in recipes, for frying, etc. Very happy with the flavor and quality of this oil, and that it's non-GMO. I wish it were in a glass bottle, but I guess that would be really hard to ship. This oil has proved to be somewhat cloudy at cooler temps, which is normal according to my research. This sunflower oil is produced in the USA, which is a major plus.
