For well over 25 years T-88 has been the most widely used structural adhesive for marine and general woodworking use in the United States. Mixed at a 1:1 by volume ratio, T-88 will cure at temperatures as low as 35ºF. When fully cured, it is unaffected by water, oil, kerosene, and many other chemicals. It will not stain wood and is immune to fungus and rot. T-88 is unique in that it may be applied to damp wood, provided it is worked well into the surface.T-88 is a high-performance, non-brittle, two-part epoxy adhesive designed to give superior results under adverse conditions. The adhesive may be used without modifications in normally fitted joints, and will cure in any thickness without shrinkage. T-88 is clear amber and becomes virtually invisible when varnished. T-88 exhibits outstanding adhesion and permanence on a wide variety of materials, and is endorsed by leading designers, builders and organizations. Review: Sets up really strong. Will bridge a gap while setting up and not shrink. 45 minute working time. It takes a few hours before it's semi hard. Seems like a great choice if you have time to glue and set aside for a couple days. Review: My husband had used this product for many years

This epoxy is exceptionally strong and, more importantly, stable. I use it to allow the strengthening of wood that may include knots or other "imperfections" that add a ton of character, once strengthened, whether they be in board feet of lumber of in more free form wood used in woodturnings. It dries clear, but in my use I often introduce dye while mixing the resin and hardener so the result mimics the character of the wood, itself. That approach works very well, and the result is indistinguishable from the wood itself. Just understand that all of this goodness has one price, which is that it takes about 12 hours for this epoxy to solidify, and 24 hours to fully harden.

It's epoxy. It acts like epoxy. It holds like epoxy. It mixes and smells like epoxy. It drys like epoxy. It cleans up with acetone like epoxy. I used it to glue-up a wooden table project, and the table has not yet fallen apart. So far, so good.

Excellant product. This two part (resin and hardener) glue is widely used in the homebuilt wood aircraft community. It is waterproof, gap-filling. It has a lengthy working time, is exceptionally strong and can be mixed by volume (1:1) or by weight. T-88 was used most recently on my porch post repair project.
