WILEY Demand-Driven Inventory Optimization and Replenishment: Creating a More Efficient Supply Chain

I found this book to be a great introduction to the field of demand-driven inventory optimization (IO) which provided historical context, the business rationale and value propositions associated with IO, guidance for operational deployment, methodology for establishing proof-of-value in the selection of an IO solution, and the expected timing of the financial benefits associated with IO. I recommend this book to anyone interested in knowing how to improve supply chain effectiveness.

As a supply chain SME if found this very useful as a refresh

Good basic understanding of inventory challenges. Poor on mathematical analysis of inventory analysis. Author obviously does not cater to operations research methods.

I am the General Manager of a retail company. I'm an MBA graduate with 7 years in investment banking. I wanted a book to help me optimize my company's inventory. However, I was very dissapointed with this book. I learned pretty much nothing and cannot imagine who would. I have bought and read around 10 business books published by Wiley and have had good experiences until now.
