Bought in Amazon as no stock in local retailers like Screwfix, Toolstation, B&Q or electrical wholesalers. Quick next day delivery and perfect for my needs. Easy to fit with screw holes on both edges (so fixed wit h 4 screws) and large cut-outs to pass cables through.

Used to make a few based power outlet for the wife's craft room. Got the idea from working in a laboratory which has desk sockets. Works well

I needed to fit the hob and oven isolator switches inside cupboards in a new kitchen. These were great for providing the space to work with the thick wires and were perfect for the job.

Weirdly I couldn’t find this in CEF, TLC, Screwfix, Toolstation or anywhere else! Does the job perfectly for adding a socket to a corner, and saves having to build up a box using plywood or MDF. Looks better too!

When you want an extra socket in the kitchen, you either chill out a hole in the wall for a box to fit it in, which you have to do very carefully to avoid cracking surrounding tiles, or else fix a surface mount pattress, that looks naff. But one of these fitted directly under the wall cabinets is as easy to fit as a pattress and looks a lot better.

All these units are a bit brittle If your making a desk socket & need to drill a cable grip - go steady
