Motion Pro 08-0483 Shock Spanner Punch

Tool is nice and long, tip is soft enough so it doesn't trash lock or adjuster rings like a screwdriver would. Reasonably priced.

I love this tool! I thought about getting one for years and when I finally ordered one, I wish I'd bought it much sooner! Gone are the days of messing up the lock and adjuster rings on your motorcycle shock-absorbers (both mono and twin shocks). This tool allows you to easily and saftley adjust them without marring the soft aluminum rings. The brass end works well and the through-shaft and hammer pad on the end of the tool is a nice touch for more stubborn applications. I also use this tool for tightening/loosening steering head bearing retainer rings along with any motorcycle application that requires a a nice square edge punch. After using this shock punch on several projects, I can't find anything I don't like about it, but will report back after more use.

Impossible to get a spanner wrench on my front springs adjusting nuts. This punch got the job done.

Worked great. The brass tip did not deform as much as I was expecting. Worked perfectly setting sag on my DRZ400S. Great tool!

Long enough to get to the shock collar and no more dents and dings on the ring teeth. Very well made, should last a lifetime.
