Love This Science Curriculum
This course is wonderful. There are illustrations and clear explanations for things. The experiments really make this course come alive and help break up the class time so that it is not mundane at all. It is well written and clear. My daughter looks forward to it every day.

LOVED IT
My daughter is loving this book. It is easy for her to read and follow on her own. There are lots of interesting experiments to do along the that reinforce the teaching.

Best elementary chemistry and physics textbook out there.
Excellent textbook. Written as though someone was talking to you. A great book to read out loud with your student/students. Lots of good quality pictures. Fun experiments.

GREAT science book!!
This is such a great book! It adds creation along with science and experiments that are easy and fun for even smaller kids to do (with a parents help of course).

Must have!
I have all of Jeannie Fulbright's books and wouldn't do homeschool science without them. These notebooking journals make my life so much easier. They include handwriting/copy work, note taking pages, experiment results pages, crossword puzzles, special flap books to make, book and CD suggestions and more experiments to try. I love these!

Worth the money. Helps in learning.
It is definitely worth it to get the notebooks that go with the book. We have tried to do it with just the book but my kids like it more and I think remember more by doing the activities in the notebooks.

They're okay
We really enjoy Apologia's science and worldview. The journals are a little pricey and really not worth the money. I usually make my own journal/workbook for the kids but this year's busyness prompted me to look elsewhere. I think of these journals like McDonald's - not really quality ( in terms of content)- but they work in a pinch. The journals for the elementary level include lots of coloring and copy work. It's just not my favorite for the money, although the kids enjoy them- to a degree. Next year, I think I'll have the kids keep notes, pictures, log experiments and collect data in a spiral notebook instead of these journals.
