A powerful mini tool for a DIYer

I am in the electrical trade and use this impact driver for connecting devices. This is a great tool for what I use it for - with Dewalt Quality! Pros It has a lower torque than the 20V version so it doesn't strip the connection terminal but still has speed 3 settings! The lower setting starts on driver mode and then actually pauses before going to impact. This is great for preventing a screw from being striped. Cons It is heaver than the standard 12V version but not too heavy.

Perfect smaller impact! It feels like it has as much power as my 20V Dewalt even! I recommend this for hobby fixers out there, less expensive and works just as well!

I bought this dewalt xtreme 12v max impact driver 6 months ago, and am very pleased with it. Its lite and gets into small spaces but still has plenty of power when the going get tuff. I bought the bare tool as I have the 12v batteries and charger from my last dewalt drill which finally wore out. The batteries are 15 years old and still hold a good charge. They were made in Japan back then. The 3 l.e.d. lights on this driver are are very bright and aimed perfectly for working in dark spaces. If this one lasts as long as my old one I'll be happy. I find this impact driver to be a good value for your money. Pics are for size comparison
