These bearing assemblies ease the task of aligning drive shafts for such as 3D prints, CNC routers, etc. Getting to ends of a shaft or threaded rod to a high precision alignment is difficult, these has a small amount of 'give' to ease this process. They have two grub screws to secure the rod at allen key 90 degree offsets.The package contains just the four bearing assemblies, the picture show other parts you may add, such as the flexible shaft connector. You attach each bearing with two cylinder head bolts through the holes provided. Accommodates shafts up to 12mm diameter.

The media could not be loaded. The bearing spins in the normal way but there is zero pivot within the housing, therefore do not self align.I managed to hit it hard enough with a hammer to be able to swivel and therefore remove the bearing, but it was way too tight in the flange housing to swivel itself.Super disappointing, bought for a tilting mechanism of a custom table saw, now got to figure out something else.

These are slightly larger inner diameter than my z rods but I printed a small adapter and it works fine!Great for holding the top of a Z rod mounted directly to a stepper or top and bottom of a rod that has a gear/belt coupling it to another stepper.Very sturdy and solid.

Poor quality. One of the four pieces too small for the 12mm shaft. All rather sticky movements.
