Over the past six to seven years, we have been thoroughly satisfied with our Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner. However, approximately a year ago, the battery began to deteriorate rapidly. Due to the high cost of Dyson vacuums, we have been forced to make do with the vacuum until a replacement battery becomes available. After conducting some research, I discovered that it was relatively straightforward to replace the battery in a Dyson vacuum. This made it an appealing option, and I decided to give it a try. The installation process was remarkably simple, requiring only three screws and eliminating the need for any wires. Once the battery was replaced, we were immediately impressed with the improved performance. The replacement battery provides significantly longer runtime, doubling the duration of the previous battery. Additionally, the battery’s performance is superior to that of the original Dyson battery. In conclusion, we are pleased with our decision to replace the battery rather than purchasing a new Dyson vacuum. This approach has proven to be a cost-effective solution that has allowed us to continue using our vacuum cleaner without interruptions.

My Dyson was given to us for Christmas about 3 years ago. I love it. About 6 months ago the Dyson started exhibiting signs of a bad battery. It would pulse with use, and only work for a small time. You could squeeze the trigger to get it to go again but it got very tedious. I started looking for upgrades, but honestly did not want to fork over the cash for another vacuum at this time. I had this sitting in my cart for awhile and figured I'd give it a try before buying a new Dyson, worse case it was not the problem and I'd buy a new vacuum on Black Friday sale. Low and behold, it worked like a charm. My Dyson is fixed. It runs BETTER then it did on the old battery even when it was newer. TLDR: Pros- It works It works BETTER in some cases than the original. It's...pretty? Cons- It doesn't greet me when I come home personally. I can get over that, it's just a battery after all. Just the Tips: If you are having issues like I described above and really don't want to buy a whole new vacuum--try this fix first.

Install was easy. Battery worked well for first week or so, and now it won’t hold a charge for longer than 5 minutes. Very disappointed. There’s also a second long delay whenever you pull the trigger with this battery. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like that?

I bought this in Feb 2023 and now in Dec 2024 it does not hold much of a charge. I guess that is pretty good since we use it almost every day for the hair of 4 dogs! Some reviews complain that it does not dock well or gets stuck, I find that to be slightly true. Here is how to avoid it. 1) when you dock it into the wall mounted docking station, keep the female receptacle at an angle until you see the blue charging light come on, the "close" it to the final mounting position. If the charging light does not come on, it is not inserted correctly and will get stuck once fully closed and it will not charge. 2) when removing the stick from the docking station, open it to about 30-50 degree angle and give it a little karate chop to dislodge it from the docking station. That is because this battery does not fit exactly as well and smoothly as the original. I am buying a replacement today. Update 11/1/25: this lasted less than a year before my wife complained enough that I bought a new one. I went with the $95 Dyson battery, but it it probably not a good value compared to getting 3 of these. I will see.

Great replacement battery for my Dyson V6 , I wish the info on box would’ve said with turbo switch on the vacuum only has 4 mins of battery life. But with this larger battery I average almost 12 mins of battery life with turbo engaged. Only one small Phillips screw to remove on handle and this battery slides right into place.

Our old Dyson DC35 has been giving us problems. Fully charged and it would run for a long time In normal power, but as soon as the “MAX” buttons was turned on it would run for about 10 seconds and stop. Searched the web and all kinds of suggestions and repairs, all pointed to the old vacuum was done!! Finally I found a help document that kind of pointed towards the battery not holding enough voltage and the Dyson shutting off to protect itself. So I searched to find the best priced, most affordable and highest rated battery. Those was made even better by the fact that I have had great luck in the past with Biswaye batteries for my power tools. I pulled the trigger and took a chance, glad I did!! This battery is super easy to install, just push the button and pull out the old and slide in the new. This battery is an exact fit for the Dyson DC35 vacuum. A Great value at around $27!!! If your existing battery is giving you similar issues, then this battery will fix your problem. Have had it for about 10 days now and it works great. Holds a great charge. Well worth the money. I purchased this battery to replace a weak battery that only holds a charge for about five minutes after power on. The new battery works great and last much longer than the old battery. Also received two filters with this order.

Our aging Dyson had not a few minutes battery life, especially on Turbo. Dyson don’t sell batteries for this model anymore. This one works great, fits like the original and was fast and easy to swap from instructions on the web.

Unfortunately I was away and couldn’t test it and then the return window had expired. It worked once but can’t be charged.

Not able to tell if it last the same as the original Dayson battery, but it seems to hold charge fairly well. It seems well made. Time will tell.

Faire attention de choisir le bon modèle, il y a deux modèles similaires. Il vaut mieux enlever la batterie d’origine pour comparer avec la photo du produit. Au final, très très satisfait ! — Give a Dyson vacuum a second life. I was expecting a lesser performance than the original, but it's the opposite. It's more powerful, so much so that the vacuum cleaner sticks a bit to the floor. The vacuum cleaner also gives off slightly more heat. Be careful to choose the right battery model, there are two similar models. It is better to remove the original battery to compare with the product picture. In the end, very very satisfied!
