Afrin Original Spray, 0.5 Ounce

I have used this product for years and it works fantastic. It does relieve stuffy nose and stops runny nose however you can’t use it every day or long-term. I use saline mist first and if it doesn’t work, then I use this product.

I have been using Afrin for more than 40 years. At first you had to have an Rx.. now it is OTC. (Over the counter) I have had facial surgery in 1972 and must use it often... the only complaint is that Afrin 0.5 spray went from April 16th, 2020 , $4.98 to $8.49 in Dec. 2020.... I refuse to pay almost double.. it is good but in hard times cost matters.

WORKS GREAT FOR ME, I'D GIVE IT A 3 EXCEPT IT CAN'T BE USED AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE. AND INTRUCTIONS SAY TO SPAY IT , BUT I HAVE TO TILT THE BOTTLE AND GET SOME OF THE MED INSIDE MY NOSTRALS.

Its true you can't get any better. Afrin does not use any chlorine type of chemicals that end up burning the sensitive tissue in the nasal passages. It is very rapid in opening the passages...stays for a long time. Also for anyone who deals with nosebleeds immediately use the Afrin & it's very quick to stop the nose bleeds. I have a loved one who about a year ago started having nose bleeds...and they are very bad...grab the Afrin & moments later the emergency is over & my loved one is safe-good again. Plz do share this knowledge for there are many who deal w/nose bleeds who are not told about this easy inexpensive treatment. I don't use anything but Afrin & Its been my choice for decades...!!

I rarely if ever use this -- but I faithfully keep a current expiration date NEW Afrin at all times in my cabinet where I can grab it easily -- I take blood thinners -- I have for 5 years. Afrin is what my Doctor told me to keep on hand for NOSE BLEEDS. That does occur - rarely -- but sometimes once a month -- sometimes just every few months. No pattern -- but it does stop a MINOR NOSE BLEED for me. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR -- READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Of all the inventions of man in the last century, this would make my Top 10 of products I couldn't live without. It is like a minor miracle every time I find myself too congested to sleep and after a couple sniffs of Afrin I'm breathing completely clear. I was thrilled to see this on Subscribe and Save because I like to replace mine every year. Note: I've used this product for 20 years and have found that it works best to take it 10 minutes before bed. I also only take it once per day. Means I can take it for 4-6 days versus 3 days of dosing twice a day. This is how it works for me.
