Nice for the price
Works great stepping down my 20v dewalt batteries to 12 v.

Works perfectly for my mikrotik router inside my car.
Needed an adapter for putting a mikrotik router inside my car and power a PoE modem inline with the router. Seems like it works well so far.

Perfect for Starlink Mini !
Great price, works well. Perfect for use as a voltage step-up for Starlink Mini - Mini does not like to run on 12V as well as 24V so this was a great way to get that done - it allows a much longer cable run and less gauge - in a large RV that saves $. Worth every penny !

Works well, good price, mounting not so good
This review is ONLY for the 24V to 12V, 60W version of this product. I bought this product to convert the output of a 20V (nominal, it actually goes down to 16V) cordless power tool battery to regulated 12VDC for powering a pair of 12V LED fog lights that I planned to mount on my snowblower as 'headlights'. My application was going to run at just under 30W, so THIS product's 60W rating meant that I would hardly be stressing it. I found that the output voltage could have been adjusted a bit more accurately; it put out 11.5V instead of 12V, but this is not user-adjustable, and was not critical anyway. My only complain with this product is the poor conceived mounting scheme. The 'base' of the converter has two mounting tabs, each with a "U" shaped slot, which is sized to fit a #8 screw (or similar metric size). The problem is, that right above each slot are two protruding shapes where the wiring comes out. I was not able to get the screw heads past these protuberances, so I tried coming up from underneath, which then required me fit a #8 nut on the flange, but two reinforcing gussets prevented those nuts from fitting (but a typical #8 screw head WOULD fit between the gussets). Perhaps a small pop-rivet might have worked but I don't think the come in sizes that are small enough. I ended up using much smaller size screws and nuts, along with flat washers, a bit kludgy.

Great for boats!
Excellent product for driving USB devices on boats where 12v is available. This is very useful and small for marine applications.

Solid 12v output.
Provides a solid 12v output. I have a 24v battery system in my camper for a more effecient inverter and smaller cabling. Since the converter has 24v input, it is only 15 amps. So 14ga wire is perfectly fine to hook it up. I have a volt gage on an outlet and it is a solid voltage output.

This thing gets HOT! Possible fire hazard?
Update: Roughly a month in now. It has now started giving a high pitched squeel when put under load at times. I used a boost converter like this before to power my starlink and had no issues...this thing is scaring me. While it works just fine as far as providing 24v I need, it gets crazy hot. I measured the standby current to be around .8amps at 13.2v which is about 10 watts. It is powering my under sink reverse osmosis unit, which only draws power when being used for maybe a minute. The power supply that came with it was 70W so it's not like the load is high. It has not been in use prior to taking this video. With an ambient temp in the cabinet of 83F the thing is 165F while in standby with no load on it...it was too hot to hold with my bare hand while installing the screws which made it kind of difficult to install. I have a feeling it's not going to last long, and really concerned it may cause a fire. I am considering removing and replacing with a different brand, unfortunately I'm just past my return window as it took me a bit to get all the extra plumbing done installing the RO in a van.

Perfect! It's consistently putting out a 24.14v
I was worried about low quality step up converters on Amazon, but this one seems fantastic! I'm using it with my 12v drill battery and a low voltage cutoff, to power an LED strobe light. I hooked my voltmeter up to it, and it is consistently putting out 24.14 v Because my 24v LED strip is 90w, its on the upper end of what this should be able to do, but as it is a strobe, the light is off more than it is on. This converter isn't even getting warm to the touch- I was worried about that with a plastic box, and the metal ones were too big. If this were constant on I'm sure it would be another story, but it's perfect for my strobe use. My strobe is on a timer that has it go on/off/on, and so far this has no issues supplying power down to .1 seconds of use.

I bought this to convert my 20 volt drill battery to run 12 volt led lights. So far no problem. Voltage output was a steady 12.1 volts.

Did not work at I thought that my wiring wrong but I have purchased another brand that work satisfactory.

Tested out very good attached to a battery and it outputs a nice clean 5v dc.

It looks nice.

Installed on a gas Golf Cart (single 12V battery), to power a set of 24V led underglow lights. Easy to install, and works exactly as expected. Quality piece of kit!
