Lots of bad reviews is it as good as people say?

If the question is “lots of bad reviews around so is it as BAD as people say?” To that my answer is “it is a great product FOR ME”. I start a new book for every trip that I have taken in the past ten yrs. I write down all the notes gathered pre-trip, set up a template diary for every day of my trip to be filled in during the trip (it is easy for me to forget where I am, which day it is, and what’s supposed to happen - what with jet lag, lack of sleep, etc), and use the book afterwards to recall details for my photo album or travelog. So it costs a few $ more than some others but I think it serves me well: the perfect size, the pre-scored pages are wonderful - I can consolidate the book post trip readily, and the covers offer just the right protection while traveling. If your question is “lots of bad reviews along with the good, is it as good as the good reviews say?”, my answer is the same.
