The tester works well with seeing if the servo is working, range of motion and centering the servo arm. I recently accidentily burned out my first one and this is it's replacement.

CAN CENTER SERVO ARM'S IN SECONDS. HELP CHECK SERVO'S TO FIND IF THEY ARE BAD OR PROBLEM WITH CONECTION. CAN SEE HOW MUCH THROW YOU GETTING WITH SERVO. BEST PRODUCT I HAVE PURCHASED IN LONG TIME AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. I HAD A SERVO ON ONE OF MY PLANES THAT KEPT TWITCHING FORM TIME TO TIME. BY USING THIS PRODUCT IN WIPER MODE AND LET IT RUN FOR APX 5 MIN IT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. IT PAID FOR ITSELF IN THE FIRST HOUR I OWNED IT BY HELPING ME FIND PROBLEMS WITH 4 SERVO'S THAT I HAD REPLACED IN PAST AND I WAS ABLE TO FIND PROBLEMS WITH LEAD'S OR NO PROBLEM WITH SERVO WHEN I THOUGHT THERE WAS ONE. LOVE IT!!!!

This item is an extremely good servo tester/actuator. I bought it to replace one of the same that I have had for over 20 years.

The LED lights on this are VERY bright, almost blinding. This product looks really nice and worked perfectly for me. I am building a high end competition spec rc drift car and this helped me get my steering geometry and settings really dialed in. Most servos are pretty good in terms of being centered when you buy them but getting the servo arm on at the right angle is the hard part as its not completely centered as each chassis needs a certain servo arm angle. This takes the guesswork out of the equation and can also help with seeing if your servo works properly or if there is an issue with it.
