I got into building and painting Gundam Models around 2 years ago. I've moved from just simply building, to airbrush painting, to fully customizing them. One problem I always had was trying to separate pieces in when pre-fitting or accidently putting the wrong pieces on. I used flat head screw drivers, tweezers, butter knives, you name it to pry them apart. Every time it left damages or scuffs on the plastic model. This tool is a god send. It takes pieces apart easily and with no damage. I wish I had known about this when I first started. It would have saved a lot of time and frustration. Should be in every modelers radar. Amazing product.

I must say this is the best $10 or so dollars I have spent of late as this tool helps out so very much and to be honest I can not imagine not having this at this point. Works wonderful and very easy to use, though keep in mind that the tool is metal so make sure you are careful when using it as to not scar the model parts.

This is one of the most useful tools for model builders. This functions just as effectively as brand name separators for a fraction of the price. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

This part separator does a good job of prying parts apart in case a mistake is made, or a part is left out like a polycap for an arm or leg joint just be careful with the blade as it is sharp and can leave cuts on the plastic or you for that matter.

Come in handy big hands and little parts

I was worried it would be too sharp or would damage my figures. It's not and doesn't.

I v damaged several kits trying to fix small mistakes by prying them apart after I v already snapped them together (trust me, it happens to everyone). That stopped the day I received these. They are easy to use and really effective.

I have had my share of prying sides apart. Great idea to have a palm handle. The edge is kind of sharp my not like a knife. I would get this if I were you. Its small and very handy. Looks like it can be used for other things.
