I just recently moved into a new house with a nice sized pool. I don't know much about caring for them, but I do know how to clean one. I also use this to catch those little gecko buggers that sneak into my house, lol. This works great for pulling out leaves and debris from the pool. Although my pool is caged in, I still get geckos and spiders and gnats floating every once and a while. It's strong netting will last long.

I got this skimmer in Dec-2024 and since then, its lived outside. For most of the afternoon its in the Texas Gulf Coast sun. I looks just about like it did when I got it. My pool is surrounded by mature oaks so this time of the year, March, is my leaves busy season. I'm talking twice daily emptying of the skimmer basket, running (and emptying) the vacuum daily, and (of course) daily skimming the surface. The pool floor, too. The lip of this net does a pretty good job of picking stuff off the bottom. I'm very glad I have this net. For me to like it anymore, it would have to jump off the wall and skim on its own. Until then...

Works well, I would have liked to see the handle with it as that is what I though I was ordering too.

This is the 2nd or 3rd unit that I've purchased over the years. The product is of good quality, they just all break over time. I really like this brand and product. It holds a bunch of debris. We live in a wooded area, and our pool is always filled with leaves. We can skim almost the entire pool before emptying this skimmer. I usually get about two years or so of solid use before I break one. However, the value is strong. Good quality product for the price.

Used this product for the first time today, and it is perfect for removing the leaves from the pool surface, and the leaves that sink to the bottom. It cut my pool cleaning time in half!! A handy gadget to have if you own a pool.

This probably the best net i have had, It does a great job of sliding on the bottom to pick up large groups of leaves and debris. We get a lot of leaves in the fall, and they can be a pain to clean out. The squeegee rubber on the edge is soft enough to slide easily across the bottom but solid enough to get under the debris. It is still lightweight and easy to use on the top of the water as well.
