Originally got this in 2017 and just had to order a replacement now in 2025. I got a great value out of the first one so after trying a different hairdryer (too heavy & noisy) I came back and bought this one again. It is a little different than the original (lighter, quieter, and shorter cord). The shorter cord is a big concern but maybe it will be ok. I love that it is quieter and nice and light. Hopefully it lasts like the first one.

First of all I just want to say how fast is the shipping is!I literally get this in less than 2 days.So this is awesome since my old hair dyer shut down completely and not working anymore....so I need a new one like now.One of my friend got one of this awesome Jinri professional hair dryer and her hair always look really good so I decided to try it why not.So I did!I am very surprise how to look of if the hair dryer,very professional like the one you see in the salon,and is just look like a good promise already.I have to say soonest I get that dryer started and start blowing on my hair I already felt that is a winner!The temperature of the hair dryer(low,medium and high) are perfect!And also they have another button below(low,off,medium) to control how fast the air to come out.I almost feel like it is massaging on my head...and seriously amazing!And than after a little bit of time I use the cool button to cool down my hair!Now go ahead and wait for a mins,do your make up or brush your teeth’s,as the time go by your hair is amazingly even smoother as the day go by!I give them 10 stars for the quality and the price points if I would! I can wait to review their hair straighteners as well! Will let y’all know how is does for me! Thanks for watching!

I really liked this dryer while it lasted. First, the positive. The infrared light kept my hair noticeably soft and shiny. And yes, the light is red as in infraRED. A few reviewers were surprised because of the red light and at least one returned the product because of it. I really liked the red light because you could see exactly where the hot air was going. The three different heat settings plus cool short were also very good. However, as also mentioned by other reviewers, this hair dryer is really heavy. I have short and fairly thick hair but still a relatively short drying time. The weight may be a problem for people with long and very thick hair. Also, the concentrator nozzle does not fit tight and keeps swiveling around which is rather annoying. Finally, the low speed setting is still pretty strong. I'd prefer it a little lower for better styling. Taking everything into account, I would have given this hair dryer 4 stars out of 5. And then the low speed setting stopped working rendering the whole dryer pretty useless. I often wash my hair at night and then just mist it a little in the morning for styling with a low speed setting. Not good. There is also a weird scary smell if it is running too long. Way too many reviewers experienced the same problems. This is obviously a faulty product. Fortunately, I was still within one day of the warranty. I contacted the e-mail provided in the product description if you experience any problems (vavusa). I received a response that they will look into it but then did not hear anything for a whole week. Sent another e-mail and the same happened again. Tried to contact seller but could not find contact information. This product is now being sold by a different seller. Contacted Amazon, and experienced wonderful and immediate customer service. Got a return label and a refund through Amazon, not the seller.

This is fairly light weight. The controls are on the handle where their easy to change or turn off and i have small hands. Some may feel the cord is short, 67", but works for my bathroom set up. I have corse red hair and it seems to dry faster, though the force of the air seems slower than my prior dryer. I think it does cut down on the frizz, but I'm not one that dries their hair with a fancy brush to get the style just from drying, I'm inpatient, I use an curling iron to smooth it out.

Works like a high-end hair dryer but costs way less. Fine hair dries fast and without frizz. Attachments stay attached. The cool shot is good but I don't care much for where the other controls are located. The temp and power switches are on the front of the handle where you have to aim it at your face to see the switch. Although it seems like many hair dryers have this configuration, I prefer the controls on the back or side. I considered investing in a $100+ hair dryer (because I'm worth it 😉) but decided to give this one a try first since it was on sale. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm now convinced a great hair dryer doesn't have to cost a lot. Save money for some other luxury item.

I have natural wavy aka frizzy hair. While I want to love this drier, it just isn’t the high end drier in a low end frame. I’ve had this for several months now and I’ve used it in a variety of ways so I could give an honest report. It DOES reduce frizz somewhat- but that’s with using styling lotion, using a lower speed and medium to low heat. Yes, the controls DO get in the way - I’ve learned that by keeping my thumbs on the side, they don’t accidentally hit a button, but that’s not convenient or comfortable. The BEST thing about this drier is the diffuser- I love that it has many smaller holes to allow air to come through with much less force. There are only two speeds, I wish there were three- when I blow dry my hair without the diffuser for when I blow it “straight.” As others have mentioned, it is heavier than some- which accentuates the awkwardness of how you have to hold it. It seems to be well made, and I’ve had no problems with power or heat. It’s a nice mid priced blow drier, maybe one day I’ll spring for a more expensive one to see if there’s really a difference- just want help with the frizz!!

Great drying power. I use the diffuser attachment since I have really curly hair. Dries much faster than my previous hairdryer. First impression was that it feels heavier than standard ones which gives it a nice good quality feel and solid build. Attachments are easy to snap on and remove. The setting buttons are pretty straightforward, the cool shot is a nice feature. My hair is nice and shiny and frizz free with this dryer. It also heats up to a very hot temperature cutting down on drying time. I was reluctant to spend that much for a hairdryer but I now see the difference in quality of the product and the results on my hair. I reccomend this product and very happy I purchased it.

I bought this same blow dryer in 2019 and it is still going strong. It works Great! I decided to get a backup one since this one is getting old so I went back to my previous order and it was on sale for $30! Well I just got the new one in and compared it to my old one. The old one is quite a bit heavier and blows way harder than the new one even tho it is supposedly the same watts. I would give the old one 5 stars but this new one does not blow strong enough to give it 5 stars.

I love that air dryer, very powerful, my hair is dry in a few minutes.

The product stopped working during use with a loud bang and intense heat from inside the handle. Was using Medium/Low settings at the time. Luckily I was not injured. Have had the product for less than 2 years. Light use and mainly in the winter. I try to air-dry my hair during the warmer months. Average use during winter 1-2 times a week for 4-5 minutes. Use during the warmer months is 1-2 times per month for 4-5 minutes. I have another hair dryer from the early 2000s that is still going strong – thankfully, I still have it. Bought this JINRI Hair Dryer as an upgrade for faster drying and the infrared feature. I did contact the seller about the safety concern and asked about warranty/repair/replacement, but none is available (the warranty period only extends to 3 months from the order date). The seller encouraged me to place another order but based on my experience, I would not buy again; plus, the price has gone up significantly since I purchased it. Sharing this feedback mainly because of the safety concern.

It dries my hair, diffuses my daughter's curls, feels nice in the hand, and has plenty of settings so I don't burn off my scalp or damage my hair. That infrared light it has is quite bright. I definitely echo the other reviewers that mention and complain about it. I make sure my kids close their eyes, but they still don't like it and it bothers them. It's not a deal-breaker for me since I'm the one who uses it most often, but it's definitely annoying. It's just a good, solid product that does what I need it to do and was a good price when I needed it. It doesn't reduce dry time or do anything beyond its function, but I wasn't expecting miracles or anything so I'm happy with my purchase.
