I was happily surprised that this little inexpensive item did exactly what I needed it to do— it fit, was easily adjustable, and adds a little extra storage. Mostly though, it provides a useful arm rest when I need it, but it is totally removable when and if I don’t. It is not gorgeous or anything, but it serves the purpose very well and feels solid enough to last. It does not block my access to tech and dials needed to operate my vehicle. I purposely installed turned backwards as I found that in my particular vehicle (Mazda CX-5) it worked better and was more comfortable that way. Also, the easy height adjustability allows it to be used for different drivers who prefer a higher or lower seat adjustment, or for me when I sometimes just want a higher or lower armrest. I only wish it was offered in a white color that matched my seat. The beige is not a match, so I went for black as the next best option.

I drive about 1k miles in a 2016 Chevy Malibu weekly. The armrests in that car are non existent! I have a torn bicep tendon and elbow pain, and he strain of driving was making both excruciatingly painful. I love this armrest, and would recommend it 100%. There are only a couple things I will point out that hat could be a bit of an issue- I am a large woman (tall 3x) and there are times that I feel the armrest pressing into my thighs depending on position. If you are very large and your legs generally rest against the center console, this may be uncomfortable for you. I slide it forward a bit so that I can buckle in and then tilt it back. Because of the narrow edge of my console, I can’t use the second cup holder as the “lip” that keeps it from sliding down is just over the edge. I can live with it, but it makes it so that the tiny edge of the cup holder trim and the seat belt connector don’t allow me to slide it back a bit more. I can’t use it too low as it would interfere with the shifter. Most of these issues are because of the design of my specific car, and may not be experienced in a different model. The only true complaint I have is that if you accidentally pull up on the armrest, you can’t lower it back down a notch one handed. You have to be in park to adjust it down. Adjusting up is one hand and easy. I also wish there was a “stop” on the arms so that it would prevent the top from fully sliding out when you accidentally pull it a bit awkward and yank the whole top out. Even with the few design flaws, I am very happy overall, as it is a way cheaper way to fix my car without getting a new one! Since I have gotten this, I’ve used it every day and my orthopedic doc is very pleased with my reductions of symptoms in my arm. I too, am pleased as I am gaining function back and pain is reduced just from the addition of this great product!

The leather is high quality but slightly firm. The storage compartment is also very nice. But the plastic is pretty cheap. Also, the adjustable sliding arms are stainless steel, so that won’t break and will last a long time.

Lasted 3 years, good for what I paid. I was also pretty brutal to it.

I liked the concept of what these are for but I put them in a 1999 Honda Civic and that did not work well. They were covering the seat belt slot and I could not shift gears with them in place. Other than that I would have given them a 5.

Terrible! It does not stay in the designated spot. The least little bit of pressure, just from lightly placing arm on rest, pushes the arm rest down. Also in order to readust it is necessary to remove the bottom section from the car as I'm unable to reach the release button due to location of the button and the seatbelt connector. Removing is a problem when you are driving down the highway at 70 mph! I purchased this for a trip and it did absolutely no good. By time I returned home, where the box was, I had missed my return window. So bottom line I can't return it or use it😡

I have a Toyota Corolla 2010 and if you own a Toyota you know there’s like no arm rest. After driving this car for ten plus years I developed a lot of right shoulder pain from trying to rest my arm on the ridiculously small hard middle console. I created a longer black top for my middle console (and for my yorkie to sit on haha) but the height was still off so I got this arm rest and it fits just right! You can adjust the height and it even has a storage compartment! It’s a must have especially if you drive a lot or go on road trips!

My sons both purchased these for their Nissan Xterra. The are great as an arm wrest and work as intended but... They do get in the way of the emergency brake which they use every time they park. Even though they are automatic transmission this keeps the vehicle from moving slightly and binding on the gears and that clunk going from Park to Reverse/Drive and wearing things out. The E-brake issue is not the items fault, no deduction for this just an observation for Xterra owners. The 3 star deduction is because there is not wireless charging pad inside as described. This is very disappointing. Probably should deduct more as it amounts to false advertising.
