Perfect genuine part
This product is the exact replacement for the pedal that was installed from the factory. PITA to remove and install but it works perfectly. It should be noted that the price beats the dealership (the only other place to get it) by about $70+

Part- 5stars...GM, you owe me son.
Perfect fit for 2001 Silverado with 4.3L. The engineers who designed this need to be stripped of their credentials and beaten with a rubber hose. Do yourself a favor and watch a couple of YouTube videos before you get started. Find one that shows you how to remove the pedal from the bracket. It’s much easier to remove the broken bracket without the pedal attached. If you don’t, I think you need to remove (or at least loosen) the dash. I swapped mine in about an hour, in the dark, in the yard where it broke, by headlamp. You got this.

Absolutely the right part.
I've had this installed on my 05 truck for a couple of years now. I've had no problems. Although I had a mild squeak in the beginning. It eventually went away.

PITA to install, standard unit
Bloody pain in the arse to install. This IS an exact replacement for the original unit, meaning it's ALL plastic - it will also wear out and break eventually, like the original does, in the nose where it holds the actual clutch master cylinder on. We'll see how long it lasts. **NO** reflection on seller, it was fast shipping, exactly as described, etc.

Be ware of struggle of install. But i can say for price it has lasted. Installed 7 years ago and still going strong.

Perfect replacement - still flawed like the original
Genuine part. Definitely recommend disconnecting the pedal from the base to install. Once the base is installed reconnect the pedal.

Buy it you wont find a metal one so stop looking
Fit perfect in my 2007 chevy 1500 classic. I did the 2 day shipping and it was on time.... it took a while to get the part out of the truck but if you take the pedal off it makes the install easy. Took me 2 hours to remove the part and only 20 min to have everything back together and driving again..... once I figured out to remove the pedal I had plenty of room.

Arrived 2 days ahead of EDD
Item fixed my problem and was not to difficult to install. Best value I could find on the net.
