Good meat and food grinder
I received this item two days after ordering it. After removing it from packaging I set it up on kitchen counter. The suction cup held tight and I ground up some bologna for sandwich spred. It worked well. Disassembled for cleaning and washed all parts. Cleaning was easy as all parts can be soaked in sink. I like it because it is easy to assemble and take apart. Most parts are plastic but grinding parts are metal and body of unit is hefty plastic. Probably not good for heavy use or production but great for occasionally making sausage or grinding something for a meal. Looking forward to years of use.

It’s a very nice grinder.
I use the grinder only once so far to grind a chicken. It works well. It does the job. It was easy to assemble. It’s very compact. I would recommend it to my friends.

Good product for the price
I haven't used it yet, but it seems very well made. It was easy to put together. Storage may be an issue as it takes up a bit of space when stored put together, or to save space you can take it apart. We'll see how that works out. But for the price, I'm very pleased.

Works great, good value!
It's so nice to order something and have it perform as advertised. This little grinder does just that. It's mostly plastic, but it doesn't feel flimsy. It was easy to put together. The only difficulty I had was trying to use the suction to hold it in place on the tabletop. Didn't work. Then I used the clamp that came with the unit and I was off to the meat grinding races! I ground up the end pieces from a big beef tenderloin and some boneless short ribs for what I'm pretty sure are going to be the best sliders I ever put in my mouth. I used the finer grind plate and it was the perfect consistency for little smash burgers. One thing I really enjoyed was that, unlike the old-fashioned metal grinders, you can see what's going on in the forcing tube because it's clear plastic. When I was finished grinding the beef, I used my mom's old trick of grinding a couple pieces of stale bread to help clean things out. Worked great. I think the metal parts are dishwasher safe but I just took it all apart, chucked everything right into a sink full of hot soapy water, let it soak for a few minutes and it cleaned up easily. Don't let it sit on the counter when it's dirty; I think that would make cleanup harder. Even though the suction didn't work, I give it 5 stars because the included clamp did the trick. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend this item for the home cook.

DOESN'T WORK, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. PHOTOS PROVE IT
I was hoping this would do what it's supposed to do - grind meat. Instead, All it did was mush the meat through the churning tunnel and clogged at the opening. I spent an hour chopping the meat into the small pieces and tried to push them through the shute. However, they would not grind and no matter how you try to get the meat to go through, All it does is get stuck at the opening and won't hardly come through the holes. Upon inspection and removing the grill, I could see that the meat was just being tangled by the tissue. I prepped the meat by removing as much connective tissue and fat and left only the red meat. This took a long time to do and prepare the meat for the grinder, which in itself is labor intensive . So this should have gone through nicely. But instead all it did was just churn in the tube and go nowhere. Also, the way the hook is set up, You need at least 2 inchee of your counter to extend beyond the cabinet or it will not hitch right. Another problem with the design is that the handle extends beyond the length of the grinder and therefore must hang off the edge of the counter in order to make a revolution. Bad design. After spending a half hour trying to get the meat to go through, I decided to take a short video of the first 5 minutes which went nowhere. Unfortunately the video would not load on Amazon. All that effort of cutting the meat, preparing it and it didn't work. So in order not to waste 4 lb of fresh steak meat, I stuck it in my Hamilton Beach food processor and got everything ground down in under 5 minutes. My advice? Stick to your food processor and forget this method. It's not worth it. It was a big waste of time and money. Buyer beware: When I got my "new" meat grinder out of the box, the funnel of the grinder had a slight pink tint to it. I suspect it was not new and was used and returned to Amazon only to be recycled back out for someone to buy it like me. There shouldn't be any reason why that funnel tube portion of this grinder is tinted pink unless it was used and returned prior to my purchase. This does put people at risk for contamination. Just be aware and skip buying this. Take out your reliable Hamilton Beach food processor and grind the meat in a few moments and save yourself the trouble and waste of money. See photos.

Great value
I have the stx turboforce 2 platinum and love it except for that I hate cleaning it. You have to clean it right away or it will tarnish the finish. You have to hand dry it or it will tarnish and rust. so I wanted something smaller for quick meals. This was it. I’ve used it several times already with pork, venison and beef. I love it. It works great. Some tips: oil the plate and blade prior to use to make is soother, cut meat to bite size pieces to prevent clogs, I didn’t have to freeze meat for this grinder, grind at steady pace. I clean and air dry, blade and plate did not rust like the STX where you had to hand dry. It appears to be made of stainless steel. Easy to assemble, take apart and use. It’s made of heavy duty plastic and should hold up to normal use. You can make a plate full in just minutes.

Fantastic little gadget
I never thought I would buy a meat grinder, and here I am. This thing works ridiculously well. I got it to make my own ground chicken because the store chicken always grosses me out. This device grinds chicken thighs up in no time. I don't even have to cut them into chunks first. I will say that one trip through produces a finely-chopped texture, good for say spaghetti sauce meat but not quite burger material. So it actually gives you choices about how finely to grind, whether you put the meat through once or more than once. I find that the suction base alone is plenty secure. Cleans easily and the body is clear plastic so you can actually see whether it's clean in there. This is a neat product worth buying even for occasional use.

Works great on small amounts of tender meat, but plastic parts crack soon
If you have a pound or two of tender meat chunks (beef, pork, chicken, fish) that you want to grind, this device will do the job with minimum effort. It does leave the last portion (a small chunk) on the auger, since there's no more meat to push it through, so you pretty much have to throw it away. Easy to clean. However, the plastic parts (aside from the fairly sturdy auger) are quite fragile, and may crack or chip off soon. See the photo, taken less than 6 months after first use. The grinder is still functional, but I wonder how long it will last now.
