Riedel Veritas Viognier/Chardonnay

I was looking for high-end white wine glasses that are very thin and light, yet stable and durable, and these are fantastic. They are the same quality as Reidel's finest crystal. They have a thin stem and a nice wide base which is wonderful. I've washed them over and over in the dishwasher with no problems. I'm going to order more!

Thin, light comfortable to hold, accentuates the wine aroma

The Riesdal box was seriously damaged...ripped, dented, etc. The wine glasses were luckely undamaged. These wine glasses, with the langer stems, are just what I was looking for. Will keep these previously owned wine glasses.

Great Chardonnays simply taste better in these glasses. I've not found a better wine glass - at any price.

we have essentially all the veritable glasses, including the 'Oaked Chardonnay' glass. We have compared the two glasses while drinking Oaked/unbaked white burgundy, California chard, and Viognier. We don't have any insanely Oaked chard, just your usual Grigch, trefhen and other $40-60 bottles. In all cases this glass brings out MAANY MANY more favors, and according to my experience at the Riedel tasting experience, the real proof is the length of the finish, which is always longer with this glass. The difference is not subtle. I read a review by Parker of the Riedel glasses, which in loved except the "chard" glass, which he said doesn't do much. I would have to agree the Oaked glass doesn't do much, but this one will make a huge improvement in whatever you are drinking, California Oaked or not.

Was surprised. Actually does make white wine taste much better. Thin stems so need to be very careful when washing/cleaning. Enjoy!

ho comperato decine di bichcieri Riedel, e ne conosco e apprezzo le qualità. A volte mi è capitato di ricevere prodotti difettati. In questo caso il difetto consiste nella non planarità della base, che avendo il bordo difettato, fa oscillare il bicchiere quando questo è appoggiato.
