NGK Spark Plug Stock # 7090

NGK has always worked phenomenal for me. I've used from their standard plugs to their iridium plugs. They all perform well, in fact their most standard plug works just fine for average driving and regular change intervals. Ive pulled standard NGK's from old cars and scraped off fouling deposits to show a still functional gap with minimal corrosion. Platinum just seems to have these deposits blow off easier from combustion. (just a theory). Always a fan of just the simple platinum spark plugs. These fit the bill perfectly. IMHO, I rather buy more cheaper, competent plugs and replace them at shorter intervals than buy expensive "higher mileage" plugs just to keep them in longer. This way I have fresh plugs that spark just as well for a complete burn. I am always wary of having things like iridium plugs in for the last 1/3 of its "life." I always feel they start to become suboptimal and replacing them any sooner is just money down the drain. Besides, changing spark plugs are not difficult.

NGK Power Platinums work flawlessly, the best plug in terms of performance and duration for most Asian cars (check your manual for exact specs). ...so, now, why all the stupid reviews of guys rating the AMAZON NGK offer as 'misleading because they show set of 1 Spark Plug and this is unclear because a set should be 4 plugs'??? Such a special person fails to comprehend the 'cryptic' description of '1' spark plug but thinks he can do anything productive by tackling his own car repair? Geesh... probably the same guy in front of me last week @ Autozone who was trying to return a battery that 'does not work' since he had left the plastic post covers on when he installed it in his Buick... good times...

These plugs are working great so far in my beater! In fact, if thieves knew I had these bad boys in there, I'm sure the truck woulda been stolen by now (Gardner's love Tacomas). Install was a breeze (of course) and truck started right up.

Good

installed these for a friend in a 00 VW jetta V6 and is great! Apparently the previous owner had funky 4 prong plugs in them but never bothered to properly replace common issues - scheduled maintenance items anyhow. These plugs looked great out the box, gapped properly and ready to install. After the install, the car #1 started LOL, #2 held idle nicely and #3 drove smoothly (as far as the engine goes). My friend can't complain. Check my other reviews for the same parts I used to replace my friend's jetta stuff but we got great results for what it's worth.

I installed 8 of them in my 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid and they are working perfectly. I also noticed a small improvement in MPG. All in all a great buy.

Replacement of old spark plugs

My little accent runs smoother and has a smoother idle as well. The car cranks up better as well and I recommend everyone change their spark plugs every 50,000 miles and use NGK!

As others have reviewed, this is a deceiving Ad. they show a pack of four spark plugs and give the price of pack but the pack is in reality just 'one' spark plug. what you see is not what you get!
