I've had good experiences with other Leg Avenue products before so I was eager to try their fishnets. Sadly, the snake pattern has been out of stock for a long time, but it was so worth the wait. As a hosiery collector (100+ pairs of tights/leggings/fishnets/thigh-highs etc), I can say with certainty a lot of fishnets are not made to last and often end up being more of a pain than an enjoyable addition to your outfit. I was very impressed with the quality of the alternative fishnet tights especially for the price. Don't be concerned with the lack of Amazon prime available! This is legit and well-made, you just need to be patient with shipping. The package arrived in perfect condition, and I especially appreciate the fact that the cardboard insert was appropriately sized so as to not stretch the fabric creating awkward dents like other brands do. Putting them on was a dream as the fit was perfect for me without feeling like I was squeezing sausage into tight rubber-bands or as if the fishnets were intended for supermodels with legs for days. (Note: If you DO have long legs unlike me, you might like Julbie.com better.) For reference, I am 5'5" / 108 lbs / petite build and I didn't have issues with the "one size" option. There is a bit of stretch possible for curvier, more blessed ladies though. The waist band reaches right up to underneath my belly button although I didn't pull the fishnets super tightly. Snug enough to not roll down constantly yet not too tight to create the dreaded muffin top effect. The snake pattern is just as depicted in the seller's photos, and IMO even better in person. I've been searching for snake fishnets for a long time but couldn't find anything this detailed or not too tacky. I love how the snake appears to peek his head out of skirts with side slits - such a nice surprise. TIPS: 1) To prolong the life of your tights, always make sure your nails are filed to prevent any snags or rips on the fabric when putting tights on. These fishnet tights seem sturdy to me as the ropes are on the thicker side, but it's good to not risk accidentally yanking a thread which can ruin the pattern. 2) Some reviewers don't like the feeling of fishnets pushing into their feet especially when you wear heels and have more pressure on the ball of the foot. You can easily solve this by wearing low-cut, no-show socks (the kind you wear for flats) underneath. This also keeps them cleaner saving you time when want to hand-wash later. Alternatively, I sometimes wear socks on top of fishnets if I plan to take my shoes off so as to prevent rips on the soles. STYLING IDEAS: These would look great over some colored tights for a cute layered effect and added texture. If you prefer a more covered up look or don't want to wait for winter to be over, fishnets under jeans with holes or rips can be a fun yet subtle option. tldr; Fantastic fishnets for the price. Fit as expected, looks better than expected. 10/10 would wear danger noodle tights again.
