Highly recommend! These (2 lanterns come in the box) are amazing! Small, lightweight, and bright LED light. Love that these are battery operated (3 AA batteries per lantern) and that batteries come included. It’s super easy to put in/replace the batteries and it’s super easy to use. These are great to have in case the power goes out, camping, etc.

This is my favorite emergency light and these were bought as replacements for some that I forgot to remove the batteries from during my last use. This light doesn't require many batteries, the batteries last a long time, and this light illuminates a wide area. I do find it to be a little too bright when placed fully open at eye-level, and have devised some thin shades I can easily tie around the handles to provide a more diffuse light for extended use with really good results. These lights are small, lightweight, highly portable and it's really easy to adjust the illumination by compressing and expanding the lamp's top and bottom parts.

I live in a six unit condo building. We rarely have electrical outages, but when we do, managing the stairs is treacherous. About two weeks ago, the building had an electrical outage that lasted over two hours. I had purchased these lanterns in the past. I moved through the building and knocked on doors and gave four of them to the people that live here. A couple of people had lit candles, but these are much safer, of course. I also like that it is adjustable. Pulling the handles all the way up floods the room with light. Pushing the handles down offers less light. I strongly recommend these.

Purchased this strictly for power outages, the real test came August 28, 2024. Had a big thunder storm and sure enough lost power for a day in a half. Had only two and was perfect. It was very bright it lit up my entire downstairs kitchen area and put the second on the upper level and worked like a charm. Battery life for the time of usage did not drain the batteries at all. Was Leary buying it and must say great investment, now both my adult children will be ordering some. Price point is reasonable for what you get. Much safer and much, much better then candles. Shipping was also pretty fast. Do recommend this product. Give it a 5 easy. Did I mention it has a handle if you choose to carry it around and can hang it on something.

Lightweight, nice and bright and very compact. Multiple uses AA batteries. Can't go wrong with this lantern
