I am a pro- MMA fighter, after damage to my `ACL` and a torn meniscus - my training was severely impaired, with on going sports physio / rehab I needed to find a knee strap that would suit my needs to continue to train at a decent level. Having only used lightweight knee straps before ( approx. £10 range ) I was now looking at the much increased cost of a good quality bilateral hinged strap - after several costly buys over the internet, I found and now own `Shock Doctor Bilateral Hinged Knee Strap` with the open patella and the cross over strapping at the back of the knee provides me with the support and confidence I need to compete later in the year.
