Extremely useful, multi-use radio
This completely met my expectations. The quality of the radio is great, it feels sturdy and not cheap at all. It's a lot smaller than I expected but that's not a bad thing at all. It charged quickly using the power cord but of course we had to play around with the crank charger first and after just a few minutes of cranking, it was charged enough to power on and use. There was no setup required. I love the fact that it has three sources of energy. The radio is great, its easy to get a signal and scroll through the channels. I love that you can use it to charge your devices. The alarm is very loud and the flashlight and reading lights are both bright and extremely useful in a power outage. I would 10/10 recommend buying this.

Raynic provided a Great Customer Experience!
I received the Raynic Emergency Radio but the side panel with the spotlight, reading light and siren buttons was not working. I called Raynic Customer Service and was pleasantly surprised at the quick response I received. Thea sent me some diagnostic tests to see if we could fix the problem but to no avail. Then without me even asking, Thea offered a replacement radio to be shipped free. That is what I consider to be Great Customer Service. I received the new radio within the week and just before a large blizzard hit home. This radio is a winner! It has NOAA channels, AM/FM/SW bands, spotlight, reading lights, rechargeable battery, regular AAA battery compartment, USB and iPhone connections, hand crank battery charger, and a bright digital readout panel. It also has an emergency siren and flashing light if you need it. The radio worked very well during the snowstorm. The radio has really good sound clarity, range, easy channel tuning accuracy, easy setup and good battery longevity, and portability. Again, thanks to Raynic for a great customer experience!

No channel memory/favorites and no power on memory of last tuned station
This is an exceptionally capable, lightweight radio - with a couple of key things missing and odd button placement. I bought it on a suggestion from Kim Komando. It has many great functions and abilities - but I will list the things I would change . First, the volume up and down buttons are reversed from what an American user would expect. They have + on left and - on right. Tune buttons would seem reversed as well. The big deal for me though is - NO ability to memorize favorite channels. ALSO, every time I turn the radio on, it starts in Wx mode - silent, so you have to pick the band you were last on and re-tune the radio every single time it's powered on. This radio has SO MANY other abilities, that it seems these should be possible. And yet, these items are noticeably missing. In all other ways, the radio is great - and so I did not return it, but now have it as a monitor/backup source during storms and outages. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the two missing items I think it should have.

Raynoc Weather Radio
This is AWESOME, the company thought of everything in this little package it's small and compact great for outdoors. Great gift idea. It has AM/Fm radio, flashlight with 2 settings, solar powered battery powered USB c powered, a table light, a emergency weather radio, a compass, a sos alarm and red light flasher, a cell phone charger, a crank to power up if electric is not on and battery is dead, absolutely love this, I'm going to keep this one in my home but will be getting another one for when I travel on trips.

Nice Compact Emergency Radio
I needed a small radio in the house for emergencies. During a move, I lost an older radio that I always kept ready for a power outage. This Raynic Emergency Radio is rechargeable, has lights, FM and AM Band plus weather alerts and antenna. Thankfully, I have not had to use it yet for an emergency or power outage but I did tune it in to a couple of Radio Stations and it has a nice sound - not a lot of static. Great price point, overnight delivery, works well - fully charged - I'm very happy with my purchase, would buy again and recommend to family of friends.

Great versatile compact am/fm/noaa weather radio!
I had been wanting to get an AM/FM radio to stop using my phone and saw this one has the weather alert feature too. The different power options are great allowing you to take it wherever you want. It has the push buttons, not dials, but it does well in going through the different stations. I haven't checked out the shortwave feature yet, so that'll be interesting. It's small but yet when fully reaching your station you can hear it very well. I like Moody or Bott Radio and I'm thankful to get it clearly plus of course music. It is serving its purpose! It arrived quickly overnight. It arrived charged and I put it on a window (it's small enough to just sit on top of the bottom part of a regular window) for better reception and had it on a low volume while I worked so it wasn't overpowering yet I could hear the good things in the background. Then when not on the phone turned up the volume push button and it's amazing, nice and clear. I had wanted a retro radio but this one had more to offer. The small strap is handy, you can attach it to things. It's 6 inches or so wide (check your dimensions for what you want), so very small but efficient design and usability for it's size. The 6 led lights for reading or whatever are bright and adequate and has 2 levels of light. Flashlight has 2 levels of light. The charge seems to last a good while but I haven't had it on for a very long time, but had it on for at least 6 hours while working without it being plugged in. I'm so glad this little radio has so much to offer and I'm impressed. Great buy for sure.

Great product
It works great. The light is so bright on it. You have two lights. It could be charged by solar or electric so you could use battery. It’s just perfect.

I own a lot of radios. I really like this one.
I own a lot of radios, and have owned a lot of 'emergency' type radios. I would say I'm well acquainted with modern radios. I really like this radio. First, what this is and what this isn't. It's an AM/FM/SW/WX radio made for emergency, camping or backpacking type use. It's not your AM DX or SW base station. That said, this is a radio that if you only could have one, this wouldn't be a bad choice, just not the best choice. The build quality on this is pretty good. It's about the size of a red brick. The plastic case is thick and should withstand dropping onto a hard surface. I'll let you test that out though. The buttons are nice and responsive. The handle is very basic but it's strong and adjustable. I've read and seen complaints about the handle covering the solar panel. It's not a big deal, it easily pulls to the side. Not really an issue at all. The whip antenna is about 14" long. The lights are bright. One side has a rubber cover for jacks, with 3 buttons for lights and the emergency siren. The rubber cover stays in place fine, and the 2 USB and headphone ports are solid. The 3 buttons for the 2 lights and emergency siren are solid. Some reviews I've read mention how the emergency button is not protected and can be set off on accident. No, not really. It is unprotected, but does require a long button press to activate. Also, if the radio is locked, the buttons don't function anyway. It's really easy to use. There is no memory, but you do get a decent scan by pressing and holding the tune buttons. I don't think anyone would have any problems using this radio. No instructions required for the most part. Foregoing high end features allows this to be easily controlled by the buttons without having to know codes or shifts to get something done. Which is good, because I received no instructions with this radio. Tuning is great. Very responsive on AM/FM and I was able to picrk up 2 WX stations in the area. I'm not in a good area for SW, but attaching a long wire to the antenna helps. There are no antenna inputs, so a wire antenna is really the only option for SW, but usually that's all that's needed. Carry some wire with you or one of those roll up portable SW antennas. The display is very easy to read and has a nice backlighting to it. This was one of the reasons I went for this radio. The display is a standard size but the whole display is mainly used for frequencies. This is important if you rely on reading glasses and don't have them. The hand crank is solid, I've had ones that feel like you're going to break them. The solar panel is competent. Here's the thing about them: You're likely never going to have to use them, but if you do, they're going to work well enough. What I've done is charged the internal Li-ion battery and stored 3 AAA batteries in the battery compartment (taped ends and upside down so as not to discharge) in case they're needed. I'm not concerned about the solar panel or crank, they're there in case there are no other options and they will work. I will likely recharge this using a solar powered 30000 mAh battery pack in an emergency. Overall, it's a good little radio. It's built well, it's inexpensive, and it's probably going to work. The buttons and screen are big enough for the elderly to use no problem. Same with kids. I wouldn't hesitate to take this as a travel radio, it should pack well. Easy to attach to a pack if you're hiking. It's in that sweet spot of quality, function, and price.
