Very bright and useful light for my job

Nice hat light. The only complaint I have is sometimes when I strap it to my backpack and put it in my truck the power buttons being on the front cause them to get bumped and turn on. I've had to replace the batteries due to it being on all night in the bed of my truck without me knowing.

This comes with a Phillips screw for the battery compartment. It's really touchy and if you tighten it too much, the light switches won't work properly. This should have come with a thumbscrew, like my other nightstick headlamp. I will use my headlamp for a 12- hour shift- at night. I tend to use it for at least an hour at a time, several hours a night, and my batteries will maybe last 2 days tops. It is very bright on the high setting but I hardly ever use that setting for the reason of battery life. I'm just about ready to return it and see if maybe it's a defective unit.
