I was amazed at how well this worked during bad thunderstorms. My dog becomes so anxious with lightening and thunder she will not calm down. Tried this two nights ago when we had horrible weather, tucked her ears comfortably, and even pulled it over her eyes. She slept through some bad lightening and thunder. Weather again last night so I put the hoodie on her before I went to bed. She woke me up at 3am, and had pulled the hoodie off. Still lightening and thunder. Put the hoodie back on her, once again tucking her ears comfortably and pulling it down over her eyes. She went back to her bed, laid down, and went back to sleep. I'm ordering another one. Highly recommend for dogs that become very anxious with thunderstorms and fireworks.

This item was recommended by my groomer and it works well. My dog no longer cries when there are loud noises from contractors working within the complex.

I wanted to start grooming my dogs myself to save money. I have 3 dogs (small, medium, and X-large) who aren’t fans of bath time especially blow drying. The medium dog is extra anxious on top of things. I bought these to hopefully help. The quality was nice, they were easy to use, and had a flexible fit. I think the level of calming it provides will mostly depend on the dog, don’t expect a miracle. My big boy is used to the groomers because he has long hair. He’s also quite lazy and chill so this worked great for him, mostly because it kept water away from his ears. My anxious boy didn’t seem to get much relief and did everything he could to take it off. My little girl was not a fan of it either. Maybe the two of them need more practice with these ear covers, but I think results will vary based on the dogs overall temperament.

This is a game-changer! We have a three-year-old Bernese that cannot stand noise... vacuuming, blow-drying, ... so bathing was a problem. A grooming place we had taken him last traumatized him by blowing him dry when he was too stimulated and scared. As a result, we have been unable to do anything other than towel-dry him after his bath. We were watching "Girl with the Dogs" grooming channel on YouTube and saw that she used these. We were skeptical, but thought, 'why not, worth a try'. We just bathed him, and we are super excited about this product! We had no problems blow-drying him at all. He was just not bothered. We are so pleased with this item's effectiveness! I can't believe we have been without it for three years. I highly recommend this to anyone with babies who don't like the noise of the dryer.

Great product! LOVE that they send 2 sizes!!! For my boxer I tried the smaller size which fit, but she was much more comfortable in the larger size. She has very long uncropped ears - this lge Happy Hoodie works wonderfully to fold them inside so they don’t get water in them at bath time . Hated to have to send this back. It was well made. Soft, appeared durable, certainly was stretchy, and looked magnificent on our Dalmatian, Lavender. Unfortunately, we purchased it for her to wear during our daily walks. Now that it's getting colder, the Dalmatian's ears are floppy, which allows any slight breeze to blow their ears up and away, allowing the breeze into their ear canal, and making them susceptible to ear infections. It appeared snug, and stretched from just above her eyebrows to down her nape, and near her shoulders. She is a 42 lb female (for those who need a gauge for fitting). Perfect fit. With one or two shakes, it slid down off her ears, and turned into a neck warmer. This was the large size, so a smaller or larger size would not have worked. What a shame. Nice product for dogs who can stand the band around their ears.

Que pasada. Tengo un perro que ha sufrido muchos abusos y tiene muchas fobias y traumas. Se pone tan nervioso con las tormentas que casi desmaya y tiembla terriblemete, me daba miedo que le iba a dar un infarto. Viendo que habria tormenta esta semana compre esta capucha y un thundershirt (tambien recomiendo!). Pues hoy ha habido muchos truenos y por primera vez el ha estado bien. Hombre, nervioso esta pero tombado y sin mover, sin temblar o desmayar asi. En un momento se le quito porque pensaba que se habia pasado y no es para dejarlo mucho tiempo porque apreta algo, todavia llevaba el thundershirt y empezaba a escuchar los truenos y se puso nervioso otra vez, pero nada mas volver a ponerselo se le paso el miedo de nuevo. Asi que lo recomiendo!!! Nada ha funcionado con este perro hasta ahora. Asi da gusto. El es una mescla de westie y caniche pequeno y pesa 8kg y le viene bien aunque bastante ajustado la talle pequena pero tambien le va la grande pero se lo puede quitar mas facilmente. Estoy encantada con el producto y llego super rapido y esta como lo han descrito.

These are brilliant. I use them all the time to calm down stressed dogs mainly when having to email's clipped. Hating coat clipped or sizzored and when using blaster dryer. Also good for dogs with noise phobias,and for those that are over reactive to certainty noises. Very comfortable for dogs to wear they seem to forgets they are weaning it. Easy to wash. Comes in pink and black as well. Also very good for using after application of ear medication. In the very hot 2 days we have had in uk I even dampened them and put them in the freeze to help cooler two of my dogs down that were suffering in the heat. This worked a treat. I find these have so many uses that they would be helpfulness for all dog owner's and carers alike. I RECOMMEND THAT DOGS ARE NOT LEFT A LONELY WHEN'S USEING THESE. Not because I have had any problems with these but because they are stretchy. 100%recommend and although seem overpriced (of which they are for what they are) but wouldn't be without these now. Simply be cause of the amount of uses that they have. Will be buying more. You get 2 in a packet 1 large 1 small if you only have small dogs don't be put off as you can fold the large size over on its self and it fits small dogs as well. Sadly the smallest size will not fit a large big headed breed such as mastiff types but would fit springer spaniel size dogs
