Best open cup training tool I have found.
This is an ingenious design. I have spent way too much money on cups for babies that haven’t worked out. So far this is the clear winner and I’ll tell you why. It’s because it’s not overly complicated. I’ve purchased completely closed off designs that the child has to purse their lips or bite to get the liquid to come out but it’s easy to complicated for my child and my child is very, very, smart. Yes, I agree those closed off types do contain the liquid well and are good for unsupervised water but my daughter doesn’t understand that she has to completely lift the glass upside down with her head tilted all the way back to finish the drink. I stopped using that style because My daughter was only drinking half of whatever I put in because she’d get to a point thinking it was “all done”. It was also not realistic in its design. Having to lift it up all the way becomes problematic when I have to give a real cup in public or if her “contained” glass is dirty. Now, this style isn’t perfect either but it’s pretty darn close. It of course has to be used in a supervised capacity. It is an open cup so it’s perfect to use at meal times when sitting in a contained high chair. I purchased a washable dog whelping blanket also called a doggy pee pad blanket for about $50 and have it placed under my high chair so it can catch all thrown food and spilled drinks. What I like most about this glass is that it’s perfectly sized for my daughter. If she lifts it too high she’s not doused with an entire glass. It allows her to learn how to accurately judge how fast it comes. (The closed styles don’t let it flow like a natural open glass) I also appreciate that when it does get dropped (accidentally or not) it only allows a small amount to escape or splash. I also feel that the cup in a cup is such a smart design for cleaning purposes too. It screws in easy and isn’t over complicated. So when my daughter stuffs her sandwich in it to experiment I can clean everything without nasty crevices and gunky corners to try and figure out how to clean. For me this is a great Tool. I use those 360 straw cups when I am not training then switch to these at meal times when I can adequately supervise and support. I love this product and highly recommend it.

Great Tool!
These cups are such a great tool. They helped train our eldest child and we are utilizing them again for our youngest child.

Good idea
But in the end it's still leaking a lot, spills and not very comfortable to hold. It's not worth the money

Serves Its Purpose
My daughter (one and a half year old) always wants to steal my glass cups, so I was in the market for something more her size and speed. I don't know what exactly I was expecting, but these are just okay. They are easy to use and clean. The flow definitely was smaller which really helped her learn to hold the cup herself without getting drenched. But despite those positives, it really doesn't hold a lot of water which made it slightly useless. Constantly having to refill it defeated the purpose a bit and did cause some water to get everywhere since already wet. My daughter also had an obsession with trying to get the inserts out which completely defeats the purpose. I don't want to knock the product too much since it did as described, but I don't think it really served enough of a purpose for me. I have since switched to just using the cup without the inserts.

Cute, fun, functional, kids love them
My kids LOVE these! They are so cute, the colors are fun, they are very durable, dishwasher safe, easy to clean, and functional to drink out of despite the heart shape. The size is perfect for kids. I bought for valentines day but we use them daily now.

Great idea poor functionality
I absolutely love the idea of this cup. But it does not function like the pictures and videos describe. At the right angle and position the flow is a small trickle but it is a constant flow. If you put it down and leave it then pick it up for another drink the liquid has leaked out of the insert and just fills like a regular cup. In my opinion there are better cup trainers on the market

Perfect introduction to big kid cups!
I love that these are so simple yet so beneficial. My child went from being breast fed to using a big kid cup with very little transition period thanks to these cups! Simply fill the small green inserts, carefully insert them into their cups, and watch the magic happen! You dont have a ton of free standing liquid at any given time which helps reduce spills! I absolutely recommend these for all kids!

Not ideal
Not worth it. The spill control feature is a joke to the point you are essentially just buying drinking cups without the spill control insert. Might as well just practice with a plain open cup with the level of "spill control" and how much liquid can even be held in it.
