love my Echo even more now
OMG, love my Echo even more now! Easy set-up. Plug it in to the EcoBoot, slide it on, and plug it into the wall charger as normal. When you want to take it to say, Anywhere in your house or yard, just unplug the charger and away you go. Doesn't skip a beat! Long battery life; I'd say 7-8 hours not cranked up all the way (7-8). Fast charge time that you don't know is even happening because most of the time you'd have it in the house or main room you like it. Cannot recommend more. Excellent!!!

Great for adding portability and battery, I wish the Echo had been built like this to begin with!
This is a great product if you want to add portability to your Echo. Setup it simple: 1) unplug your Echo. 2) Plug the power cable from the Ecoboot into the Echo. 3) Squeeze the Echo down into the boot. 4) Plug the Echo's original cable into the boot. After you let it charge, you can unplug your Echo and walk around your house with it. Of course, you need to stay in range of your wifi because the Echo has no onboard storage, but as long as you do you'll be able to use the Echo's full functionality. I've used this for: Moving my Echo into my kitchen to listen to music while the family watch TV. Taking the Echo out onto the patio. Taking the Echo to my basement so I can listen to news while I'm reorganizing all the junk. Also, if you use your Echo for your morning alarm, this gives you a back up against a possible power spike (I don't use this function, but some people do, and it's nice to know you're not going to be late for work). A couple of things I would point out: the Echo is a tight squeeze into the base. And if you don't get it a just so, the Echo will sit a little off kilter. Because this adds a few inches of height to the Echo it also makes it more apparent if its sitting at an angle. So, you may find yourself needing to finagle it a bit. It is not a perfect match for the finish. If you get right up close to you and really look at it, you can tell it's aftermarket. That being said, this doesn't bother me at all because kind of the point of a voice-assistant is that you *don't* need to get right up close to it and really inspect it. I haven't had a chance to do a battery run down. I started one a couple of times by putting the volume at 5 and telling having the Echo just play non-stop music. Unfortunately, I've only ever gone about 3 hours before the volume 5 music got on my spouse's nerves and I had to turn it off for a bit. I will update this when I have a chance to do a full battery rundown test. Finally, great customer service. I was a pre-order buyer of the Ecoboot, and there was a shipping problem with my order. The company was extremely prompt and responsive.
