Fabulous to have one of the most important books of the 20th C accessible in a graphic format. Fabulous for kids to learn from this allegorical tale about the congenital inequity between the rulers & the ruled.

It's a perfect small gift for a child or a young adult, to invite them to reading while learning some life lessons.

Occupation of power in the Soviet during Stalin's time is told in the allegory of revolts by beasts.

Graphic Novel for my teenage son, bought for his birthday gift... Why should only grown ups have all the fun?! Political acumen is always a good thing to have, I feel. I already have read unabridged version of this classical novel and recommend this version of graphical Novel fit for young ones only. For grown ups it'll be disappointing as far as my own experience is concerned. Kids will like the novel for sure. #Highly_Recommended for young ones but not for adult readers for whom it'll leave a lot to desired and in order to overcome this they should definitely read the unabridged version which is way cheaper than this graphic novel.

The packaging is not good by the standard of penguin random house publication ,which I do not expect. As of the book and pages it is good. About the writing I have not yet ready.

The kindle edition is not a graphic novel. The title is misleading, don't purchase if you are expecting a graphic novel.

I am not sure if I should have read the text version of the story before I but now I am wanting for the text is very less in the graphic novel version (incredibly less), almost 3-4 pages of it throughout the entire book. I am neither sure of the paintings in the books. The sketches are beautiful but I hate the painting which makes the picture less obvious and blur to a point. Despite the other facts the story was intriguing and I still wouldn't mind going through the book several more times. The graphics did hold emotions indeed and it was a fun read. Overall I would recommend having it if you love graphic novels.

The novel is a classic but I already own the title as Kindle/ printed text. The Kindle edition of the graphic novel was available for a price too good for a graphic novel. And the only graphics I found was the cover. The title of the Kindle edition is misleading, therefore, as another reviewer said, if you are looking for the graphic novel version.

There was a crease/fold on he first 20 pages of the book.

We read the traditional novel together as a family, and then my 8yo son wanted this graphic novel to ‘relive’ it - it’s a brilliant way to extend a child’s reading experience and it’s absolutely gloriously illustrated, paced and structured - a triumph!

I was able to read this a chapter or 2 at a time to my 5 year old son. I'm sure the majority of the concepts will take more time to set in, but it's a good fable for him to maybe later recognize these issues in real life.

Die Zeichnungen sind sehr schön und passen gut zu der Geschichte, leider sind Teile der Geschichte weggelassen worden. Auch am Ende fehlt ein Teil der Story.
