Is there any fix for the passenger side motor to stop busting the door that is closest to the engine wall?

Check out the manufacturer of this part's website (JGC Parts). They mention that in their experience the motors are never bad and only the doors need fixing. If you replace the plastic oem doors with these it would be extremely hard for the motor to bust them. Oem plastic will bust for all Grand Cherokees no matter how well you care for it. Lastly and to answer your question, there is no quick fix for that if your motor is bad. You could try to get to it by cutting the furthest wall of the blend door but it would be very difficult since you'll be trying to get to the motor blind. The more proper solution is to remove the dash which is about an 8 hour job and hundreds of dollars if you go to a mechanic. Start small and get these doors, you don't want the plastic doors in there anyways.

does this come with a new actuator? as well as blend doors

i have a 2001 60th anniversary limited edition with dual controls will this fit and maintain the dual control feature?

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with dual control and it worked great. Both dual controls work like new and are independent. The repair dual heater blend door indicates from 1999 - 2004 so I would assume that it would work on your unit if it's a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Question # 2 says yes, it will work on 2005 gc; while question #4 says it will not? I'm confused???
