Good quality protection
These are really sturdy and comfortable. I plan to use them for dirt motorcycle riding and some mountain biking. For the price they are well worth it. I'm 5'10" 190..ish and these fit perfectly and seem to be well made. The shell plastic is very tough and sturdy and seems like it would handle and impact very well.

Quality, comfort, great coverage and mobility
Fits nicely, straps are easy to adjust and the you can pop clip to on and off. Nice coverage not too low so boots should fit. Side protect and able to be d knee very far and the upper stays above knee. Nice weight. Ventilation may be lacking some what but definitely not a big deal. Plastic thick and padding is good . Happy with this purchase. Seems like they will last too good looking quality . Got these for motocross.

Look good, fit well, have side protection, And Are well made...
These are GREAT knee/shin pads. They also cover the outer sides of each shin. The only thing that could use improvement are the clasps they are small and kinda hard to hook and unhook if you have the straps pretty tight. Other than that they look good, are comfortable, more protective than others and seem to be well made. I would definately buy these again...

Phenomenal knee pads for the value
Okay wow! First off, I am a bigger guy 5'11" 250lbs. Let's face the facts...im fat. My legs and knees are very picky to shop for. I took a chance on 3 different brands. Two out of three brands were very uncomfortable or unworkable. These however are 100% perfect!!! Positives 1) Easy attachment latch. These take 1 min or less to put on. Very convenient. 2) comfortable - the pads are soft 3) safely, the pads are thicker than some of my supposed CE 2 rated gear. 4) Fit, the straps are really long 5) high quality materials, it doesn't feel cheap 6) the extended flap on the outside near the shin area is different. It seems to keep legs better protective, but I think its more esthetic? It stands out over other brands. 7) CE 1 rating does "feel" true and not a just presumed. Neutral. 1) lack of colors? 2) the protective area height, knee and shin area, is a bit smaller in height. But it makes up for that in width. Unconventional design. Negatives. 1) not for summer or hot weather 2) a bit bulky, but for safety reasons. I would recommend this product to friends and family and fully endorse it.

These are light! (Tha mailman told me “Amazon sent you an empty box “). They are comfortable, the straps are industry standard adjustable and works well. I tried falling on my knees and they absorbed the impact very well. The reflective bits are only the 2 spots on the side, no reflective parts on the front at all (there are places for it, they just didn’t put some) which is a shame. Overall, a very good product. I’m happy.

Reviewed after extensive testing...
These are well make universal fit knee & shin protectors. My review is based on my experience and that of a good friend who put these through the paces. I bought them for a costume however I needed them to look distressed in a real/heavily used fashion so I gave them to a good friend who takes LONG rides on his touring bike, and shorter off-road courses on his dirt-bike. After maybe a 100 hours on the road and 30 courses these held up well. He reported that protection was great, and his insights were the following: They are comfortable, and once you have the velcro set to your size there are little plastic clips that didn't last long on the off-road courses, but a small metal rivet solved that problem. He said there was some odd pressure on his kneecap because they slid down with some regularity, fixed with a small piece of velcro to keep them from working their way down. And the final issue was the upper strap was uncomfortable on long rides due to the strap size & it having no real padding on the back of the leg. Problem solved by sliding over a luggage strap. So for about $10 in modifications these are really good protectors pushing them into the same category as $200 sets that have logo's plastered all over them, which was an issue for me as I didnt want it on my costume and an issue for him as his sponsors didn't like the competition all over his gear... For that these are highly recommended at this price.

Pretty sweaty, modifications needed, but otherwise fine.
My first impression of these pads were good! They came with a nice case and wrapped up nicely. I thought they looked really well made and couldn't wait to try them. I went riding on my local trail on a MTB club ride and as I was pedaling I kept hearing a clicking noise. My riding mates did not like the noise, and I didn't either. It sounded like a clock, which could be good I guess if you're trying to measure cadence but I don't think that it's supposed to sound like that. When I got home last night it was late and I didn't feel like investigating but this morning I took a look and I discovered there is some padding under the actual plastic part and above the foam padding. This was getting caught on the plastic from the under piece of armor and causing it to make a clicking noise. In order to fix this, I trimmed the little pad part that was catching on the overlapping plastics and it stopped making the noise. I like them ok, they're a bit hot for riding in the summer, I would like it if I didn't have to climb with them so I may just use them at a bike park where I can lift up to the top. They're not well ventilated, but they're comfortable enough. The straps either need velcro all the way around, or a slip under them, because they slide down the leg and arm as you're riding. It's easy enough to put on, and I liked that the left and right labels were on each pad. The size is pretty good for me, I'm 6'1" and pretty lanky. I did not crash during my ride, so I'm not sure how well it will fare in a wreck.

They work when you need it
Got into a head on collision, Brooke 3 ribs, bleeding adrenal. Knees hit after my chest, these pads held up. No knee pain or injury, even though there's some damage on the pad. They definitely do the job.
