Loved it!
I know it’s a bit cliche but I really do think I would read the phone book if Victoria wrote it.I’ve not read anything of hers that I didn’t love and this was no exception. What a thrill ride she’s taken us on with Cassidy, Jacob and Lara! I really hope there’s more books in this series as I love these characters.Another atmospheric setting, this time New Orleans, adds an even creepier edge to the story than even Edinburgh or Paris.I really enjoyed everything about this series and cannot recommend it highly enough! ❤️

Even better than the first two
When I have started this trilogy I wasn't sure if I am sold on it. I really liked it but I did not love it. When I have finished the second book I was in love with the story and friendships in it. I couldn't wait to read the third (and final for now) instalment. The rest of the review includes a small spoiler for the second book.In this book, Cassidy travels to New Orleans and gets into trouble as usual. The mysterious skeleton man shows up at the end of the second book. We learn about a secret society and of course about the spooky places in New Orleans. I love the way how V.E. Schwab researches her places and describe them so detailed that You actually see them. She makes You see the buildings, the streets and also feel the spookiness, all the books are very atmospheric.Put this all aside this book is about friendship. You will love how these three friends stuck together, support each other and show that no matter where You are what are You doing the company is the most important.

Loved every moment catching up with the in-betweeners. I missed following Cassidy and Jacob through their mysterious world and enjoying the journey alongside them. Brilliant series!!
