I received what is shown in one of the photos- a soft fuzzy grey eye pillow filled with what feels like it could be flaxseed. The description and inclosed instructions say to remove the cover and wash and also removable pad to microwave. There is no cover to wash and there is no pad or insert to remove and microwave. It is one item all sewed shut - nothing to open or remove. Flash advertising and I request the seller refund my money or send me what I paid for.

It turns out the grittiness in my eyes is due to partially blocked oil glands. No amount of eye drops cleared up my situation of waking to grittiness, and sometimes intense pain, from natural forming crustiness that was flushed off by younger eyes. Ophthalmologist recommended washing my eyes with baby shampoo (genius!) and using a "sock of rice warmed up in the microwave for 20 seconds" over my eyelids for 10 minutes 3-5 times a week. This eye mask is perfect for the job, and shaped better than a sock. The plush side is very soft, and the elastic band holds it in place where it can do the job. I have to move the seeds inside around a little, but that is minor factor. Highly recommended.

Have issues heating and filling settles unevenly.

I've had a Covid eye infection for it seems like a decade. I use hot water packs every morning, but still have the blasted infection. Doc suggested i spend $40 for eye patch. I went with lowest price. The first night i used this product i heated it up for 40 seconds then put the mask on for 5 min and dreamed of eating breakfast cereal (heated flax seed). My eyes were soaking wet! I squeezed out eyelids and put on medicine. My eye infection is already down 50% Why spend more?

I've gone through a number of "eyeball warmers" and this one has been the best. Comfortable, heavy enough to rest comfortably on the eyes without using the weird strap. Stays warm for a good amount of time. My one comment is that the space between the "eyes" is quite wide. I shortened it with a rubber band. Otherwise, a solid 4/5!
