Model is nice for train layout. However it takes time to build.

Love the detail on this kit. It will be perfect for my layout. It was easy and fun to build as well.

Paint before you start. Could use some detail parts, but the real thing is not very fancy anyway. Looks good.

Diamond Cole corporation building came out well. It started out annoying due to the directions, but after reading them 20 times and looking at the crappy diagrams, I figured it out. This kit not for beginners. I’ve been doing it for a while and this one was a challenge mostly due to diagrams, figure and indexing of parts in the directions, colored pictures would be nice better quality instructions in this kit would make this are more enjoyable build. Take your time. You’ll probably have to walk away from it a couple times. You won’t get this done in a hour more hours. Read everything three times cut all spurs and burs off of parts that are cut from the trees for better fitment. I found 220 sandpaper works good to clean up all the cutting areas testers model glue work great for me. Most of the glue work was done with a a wire pin I made and flattened out on one end as a scoop to scoop. Glue up very little mounts because you don’t want to use too much glue otherwise a model just looks like crap overall it came out pretty good now it’s just time to distress it.

Instructions a little difficult, need patience and go slow

The parts in this kit are very precise, no problems with assembly, and the details are distinct. All things considered, this is an excellent product. The one potential downside to one not expecting it is that N-scale is very small, everything is 1/160th of actual size -- 1" thus scaled is a little over the thickness of a human hair. For that reason, this kit isn't really for kids working alone, and adults without experience will find it challenging but rewarding. The completed model, with my own weathering added, looks great on my layout. 1 star was deducted because the instructions could benefit from a couple of extra paragraphs and illustrations.

True to the image. Fiddly of course but very accurate and modestly easy to put together.

Not overly impressed with this product. Instructions are lame, the glue should be included with it. The scale should better noted in the description this is not HO scale, it is N scale the smallest possible product for railroad diorama. I should’ve looked at the packaging closer when I got it then I could’ve sent it back. However, I have already started putting it together so I will have to keep it.
