Apparently the “new gold” is the old beige. Not even close.

I discovered RA thread at my local fabric store, I love how well it sews and would recommend it to anyone doing machine embroidery, and it's significantly cheaper on here. the only downside is that it shipped in a small bubble mailer so the base part of the spool got busted up because it's thin plastic.it's good thread, and if you're used to using the cheaper brands for decorative stitches it will be like heaven, and if you're used to using the other "nice" brands, it's a good savings compared to either getting tiny spools or paying 50% more for one of their "king" spools.EDIT: the seller contacted me and refunded me for the damaged spools, so I'll go ahead and bump it back up to 5
