Worked great to fix a free mini fridge that was freezing everything inside

We were gifted a mini fridge prone to freezing it's contents. This unit was affordable and an easy install. An inexpensive fix to salvage a nearly new mini fridge!

Perfect fix, no issues, saved money rather than purchase new refrig.

It worked on my Haier mini refrigerator. the pins were a little wider than original one, I had to adjust the connectors. The wire (sensor probe) was 2 inches longer than the original one, you just need to folded it. the unit was not extract size to fit the thermostat plastic cover, I used the plastic weld to fixed the problem

Was able to fix my Primo water dispenser with this. My water dispenser stopped dispensing cold water and I isolated the problem to the thermostat. Getting the old one out and new one in was a bit of a hassle, but was not impossible.

This (wpf20) thermostat was a drop in replacement for a wpf15-ex... Exact fit in a mini fridge housing. The only issue, was that the zero point on the knob was 180 degrees off from the existing one. So the off position corresponds to the number three on the mini fridges temperature dial.... Doesn't affect functionality, but can be confusing to set temperatures if you don't know this offset.

2020 edit: 3 stars. While this was a simple drop in replacement, it eventually started getting innacurate and causing the fridge to freeze The grinding when turning the knob makes me think it's just a low quality part. Background: My GE mini fridge (Model No. SFR03BAVBBB) would never turn off the condenser, causing the entire fridge to freeze. I narrowed down the problem to the control dial because it would stay on even in the "off" position. My fridge had a WPF18B, but this WPF20 model seems to work fine. Pros: Compatible, easy to install, shipped quickly, functioning well so far. For only $7USD, you can't beat it, compared to replacing a whole mini fridge for $200. Cons: ~ (As others have mentioned) the dial will be backwards. I fixed this by drilling out the inside of my dial and jamming it on 180-degrees opposite. There is enough friction in the shaft that it stays in place. ~ I am worried about build quality. There is a lot of "grinding" when turning the knob, and when clicked into the "off" position it doesn't click very smoothly. I'll try not to adjust the dial too much.

This thermostat was almost a great replacement for my frigidaire mini fridge. The unit works great and has the fridge running properly again, no more freezing my soft drinks and other food items. The only downfall I had was the temperature knob and markings were off 180 degrees but as long as you remember that is easy to overcome. I would recommend this item as it is a great replacement thermostat and works beautifully.

Used for small freezer, seems to be working good after installation. Very satisfied.
