Great Product
Tipton rods are the best. This one included. Throw away those aluminum rods that screw together, and unscrew as you're trying to use them.

Really Great Cleaning Rod, Well Worth the Little Bit Extra Cash You Pay!!
I got this particular size because I figured I could use it with almost any caliber(excluding anything smaller than a .22). Boy was I right, I use it on .22LR, .30-06, 5.56x45mm/.223 Rem., and 7.62x54R (No the R does not stand for Russian for those of you out there that don't know, the cartridge has R at the end because it is a rimmed cartridge, look it up). The rod is very strong and durable. It flexes but not overly, and the handle...oh boy do those bearings in the handle turn smoothly. Stop wasting your money on aluminum, steel, wood, or coated rods and spend just a little more cash and get this rod. This rod is strong, has no joints in the middle to break, won't damage your firearm even if your don't use a boreguide, doesn't embed like coated rods, and it isn't damaged by cleaning solvents or gun oils. Trust me it is well worth it, I don't know how many of the cheaper rods I've broken or bent out of shape simply cleaning a firearm. This rod will last a very long time and serve you well. Oh and if you want a really great cleaning set up, get the Tipton combo cleaning jag and best bore brush set to go with the rod. Talk about awesome!

Good carbon fiber cleaning rod you can trust.
One of my favorite YouTube X-Ring is using this rod, so I want to give it a shot. Works perfectly on my cz457 .22lr rifle. Cz457 MTR chamber is picky, some of the .22 rod doesn't work but this rod works like a charm OUT OF THE BOX. The carbon fiber rod wont leave any mark or damage to your charmer and rifling not like the Real Avid rod i was using. I trashed my old rod immediately. Sorry, RA, I found a better rod.

1 piece carbon fiber
I have been wanting a 1 piece cleaning rod for my long guns for quite a while, but never wanted to buy an aluminum one so I have always used the 3 piece aluminum cleaning rods for ever. Everyone knows that barrels and aluminum don't go together because you can damage the rifling, throat, and muzzle very easily while cleaning your rifles. This carbon fiber 1 piece cleaning rod was exactly what I was looking for so I can clean my rifles as needed with minimal risk of damaging the barrel in any way. The handle is a comfortable fit in your had and the bearings rotate smoothly while pushing a brush or jag through any barrel. If I wasn't the family gunsmith and gun cleaner I would definitely buy these for other family members. Pros: not aluminum, can be used for many calibers, can be purchased in different lengths depending on your need, ease of use Cons: as of now I don't have any, but carbon fiber can splinter or break easier than the old aluminum cleaning rods. This isn't a big issue when consider the price if I ever need to replace it.

Excellent cleaning rods
Leave it to Amazon to carry the 44” cleaning rods. I run (F/TR) 32” barrels. I managed to break one while traveling and need one quick. Amazon came through and I was off to my next match. Tipton rods are 1st tier cleaning rods. I’ll hold them up with the rods from D**y.

works fine...nothing special
While I have a lot of cleaning rods, I had never even thought of getting a Carbon fiber one. I ordered this for a friend, because he is all gung ho about his Sig 556 rifle. He won't even shoot it, because he doesn't have a carbon fiber rod yet. It was getting ridicilous. Two years, and not a shot through it. I ordered this for him, and he seems genuinly happy now. It is a nice rod, I wouldn't say there is anyting wrong with it. I personally will just stick with what I already have. I thought that it was a little strange that there is a brass tip on the rod that is threaded for the jags, and such. To me, the advantage of the one piece rod, is that ther are no seams to catch on anything. This is a joint, about an inch and a half back from the tip. Now, perhaps you can't thread the carbon, but maybe you can mold the carbon over the end? I know that my steel and aluminum rods are seamless. They also have all come with tips, and a bore guide. I guess Tipton has decided that it is better to have the user get every accessory separately, instead of including standard items. All in all, if you need to have a carbon rod, this is okay...Just be aware, that you need the bore guide. At least the bore guide...and whatever else you want. Oh yeah, all of my other rods have come in a plastic tube...this was in a heavy cardboard tube. I personally like to see which rod I am grabbing out of my sets.

De momento la he usado dos veces solo, pero da la sensación de resistencia y robustez, ademas al ser en una sola pieza evitas el roce en el cañon de las juntas de las que van engarzadas
