RIVERWELD WP-17F SR-17F TIG Welding Torch Head Body with Flexible Head 150Amp Air-Cooled

Honestly for a cheap tig torch head; this product is awesome. It exceeds my expectations from when I first bought it. I have welded stainless pipe and carbon pipe for the last 6 months with this. I have had this head up to 230 amps and it has given me no issues. My only concern is I wish it was slightly stiffer to bend so my rig isn’t bending while walking the cup at high heat with it.

If you’re looking at this it’s likely due to the fact you melted or tore your existing torch. Price the name brand and then come right back here and buy this one. Let me tell you why. I keep on had several different torches of all different sizes with all different set ups and cups and collets. I started as the “you get what you pay for” kinda guy. I have learned that actually, you don’t. What you get with the name brand is a torch that is a little and I mean so minutely better than this that you would not notice if I snuck in and swapped them without you knowing. I do a LOT of 200 amp aluminum and stainless and it doesn’t matter what you buy, if it’s not liquid cooled it’s going to melt and it’s going to crack and you’re not going to care because you didn’t just buy this one, you bought three because they are three for the price of one mr name brand torch. So when you do melt, over temp, and crack one of these who cares, grab one of your spares and just keep on laying dimes.

quality is good, fits better in hand opposed to those Euro type torches. I like the flex head better than the straight head.
